The concert will feature Charles Gounod's moving Messe Solennelle (St. Cecilia Mass) accompanied by Dr. Larry Taylor at the organ and soloists Christine Fairfield, Jordan Davidson, and Shannon Kiser. The second half of the concert continues to celebrate the transforming power of music with works by John Rutter, David Dickau, Kim Andre Arnesen and others. Everyone is invited to a special Community Good Friday Service on April 3rd at 6PM at Bethany United Methodist Church. This Good Friday service will be a funeral for Jesus, where all are welcome to attend and grieve his death.

Those sharing in a time of witness will be Jesus’ friends and family: Mary Magdalene (Rev. Jenny Day from Dayton United Methodist Church), John (Rev. Stan Farthing from Augusta Stone Presbyterian Church), Mary, Jesus’ mother (Rev. Amy Pannell from Weyers Cave United Methodist Church), and Peter (Rev. Blaine Oliver-Thomas from Bethany United Methodist Church), with Rev. Tommy Crosby from Mt. Crawford UMC and Mt. Sidney UMC presiding over this service.

Come back out this Monday for bike club--- or just come sit at the pavilion to enjoy the afternoon air.
Bike club meets on Mondays in March/April and early May in the parking lot and in the green spaces on the church grounds.
