As we continue to grow in faith, support one another, and make a difference in our community, we encourage everyone to take part in our upcoming activities.

This Sunday, we will recognize Breast Cancer Awareness and Domestic Violence Awareness Month, standing together in support of survivors, honoring those affected, and promoting awareness.

From bringing families together at our Fall Festival to staying informed and participating in the voting process, each opportunity reminds us of the importance of unity, compassion, and community involvement.

Today, New Tabernacle Baptist Church joyfully celebrated our 131st Church Anniversary a beautiful milestone honoring God’s faithfulness, the dedication of those who came before us, and the continued growth of our church family.

We were blessed to welcome Pastor Emeritus Oliver W. Billups of Mount Olivet Baptist Church as our guest speaker. Drawing from our key scripture, Exodus 33:7, he delivered a powerful message entitled “Live Up to Your Name.” His message reminded us of the importance of living out our calling, standing firm in our faith, and remaining committed to the purpose God has placed before us.

Today was more than an anniversary celebration. For 131 years, Tabernacle has been a place where faith is nurtured, lives are touched, and the love of Christ is shared. As we celebrate our rich history, we remain committed to building on that foundation and being a church that makes a meaningful difference in our community and beyond.

New Tabernacle Baptist Church extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, participated in, and supported our 4th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk! Your presence, generosity, and commitment to raising awareness made this event truly meaningful.

A special thank-you to our very own Dr. Natasha Cleveland and the Mental and Physical Health Ministry for your leadership, dedication, and hard work in making this event possible.

Their testimonies encouraged us all to prioritize our health, schedule our screenings, and remind our loved ones to GET CHECKED!

At New Tabernacle Baptist Church, we believe in caring for the whole person including spiritually, mentally, and physically. Our commitment to holistic well-being means nurturing our faith while promoting healthy living, preventive care, and support for one another.

Thank you for walking with us, standing in solidarity with survivors, honoring those we have lost, and helping spread awareness. Together, we can continue to make a difference!

New Tabernacle Baptist Church proudly celebrates our clergy who were honored by the Sunday School Department in recognition of Clergy Appreciation Day! The occasion included a discussion of the history and significance of this special observance.

Congratulations to our associate ministers, James Lyons, Glenda Augustine, Trent Williams, Ibra January, and Nobie Harris, along with our beloved Pastor, Brian Reed.

We thank God for your leadership, dedication, and faithful service to His people. May God continue to bless you abundantly!

Celebrating 4 Years of Faithful Leadership!

Today, TabNation joyfully celebrated the 4th Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Brian Reed and First Lady DeShantra Reed!

We were blessed to have Pastor Samuel Andrews, Pastor of New St. James Baptist Church, as our guest speaker. Sharing from Jeremiah 1:4 under the powerful theme, “When God Calls,” Pastor Samuel M. Andrews reminded us of Pastor Reed’s call to shepherd, lead, and care for the flock God has entrusted to him.

Our various auxiliaries showered Pastor Reed and First Lady DeShantra with gifts, bringing joy, smiles, and heartfelt expressions of appreciation. Among the many gifts presented were New Orleans Saints tickets along with a stay to enjoy the game which was a special surprise that added even more excitement to the celebration!

Today was a beautiful reflection of just how much TabNation loves and appreciates our pastor and First Lady. Through words of gratitude, gifts, hugs, smiles, and acts of love, it was evident that we are truly thankful for their leadership and service.

And the celebration didn’t stop there! The fellowship continued in the Tabatorium with food, laughter, and joyful fellowship as we continued celebrating our pastor and First Lady.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make today’s program so special, and a special thank you to New St. James Baptist Church for celebrating with us.

Pastor Brian Reed and First Lady DeShantra Reed, we love and appreciate you! May God continue to strengthen, guide, and bless you as you faithfully answer His call.
