Brother Ricky and I were in pod 201 this evening and I brought the message from Luke chapter 16, the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. There was a certain rich man who wore fine clothes and feasted every day. Then there was a beggar, named Lazarus, full of sores, who laid by the rich man’s gate, hoping to eat from the rich man’s garbage. They both died, and Lazarus the beggar, went to Abraham’s bosom, a place of comfort and water, but the rich man went to torment in the flames of Hades. We realized that Lazarus the beggar must have had a relationship of faith with God, because Romans 4:3 says “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” The rich man asked for Abraham to send Lazarus to cool his tongue with water, but Abraham said “no”. Then the rich man asked Abraham to send Lazarus back from the dead to warn the rich man’s 5 brothers. Abraham said no once again, they have Moses and the prophets, The rich man begged him, because he didn’t want his loved ones to be in this torment, and Abraham said, “though one comes back from the dead they will not repent”. Interestingly, the one telling the story, was the first one to rise from the dead.
I tagged with another parable Luke 8, the sower went out to sow. Jesus explained it to them. V. 11 Now the parable is this; The seed is the word of God. What makes all the difference in the world is that it must fall in good soil to expand and become fruitful. Are you good soil today??? What is the level of your desire??? The soil can be deficient but the seed is the word and it is alive. The devil tries his best to prevent it from getting it to the designation. It takes time to reveal the mystery to those who need it most. The seed in good soil!!! The seed must expand to bear fruit with manifestation!!!
Thank you for your help and support. God bless y’all abundantly. We had 15 responding tonight. Some for salvation, others just needing a touch from heaven.
