I was thrilled to be back in UPDC with Chaplain Broyher Larry and was able to minister to 4 dorms tonight. Sharing the parable of the sower in Luke 8:4-15. Jesus shared the parable to a multitude but the disciples ask Him to explain it for their understanding. Point being “The seed is the word.” And must fall in good soil to sprout, grow, expand, and bear fruit. I pressed tonight being saved, hearing the word, allowing the spirit to get it to the destination being the soul, in order for the soul getting the info to the body, enabling it to be a fruit bearer. We prayed for all the men tonight to make it their heart’s desire to become fruit bearers!
Thank you for your prayers and support. God bless y’all abundantly.

We had a beautiful day with a fantastic crew at Hope Street Ministries today. Really not a big crowd today but some of our friends from yester years. It was a precious sight to see some that we’ve ministered to years ago doing very well in the real world today. Hallelujah. Great day for tuna sandwiches, a favorite of almost everyone. Many clothes to give to those that need them the most.
Joseph leading out as Jamal pitching in with a spiritual touching many hearts. Thanking my whole crew for being such wonderful help. We shared Luke 8:4-15. When Jesus shared this parable, many heard, but His disciples wanted to understand exactly what it meant. The seed is the word of God, so that wasn’t the problem. Where it falls determines the word or the soil is the problem or a faulty heart. We must learn that the spirit is to communicate to the soul, that reveals to the body what it needs to do. The body needs management. Without that management in place, the soul has to have the right information. Then it is imperative for it to reach its destination. The world controlled by Satan and his plan is to leave God out. The spirit must invade the soul to affect the body to become more Christ like. My prayer is for my people on the street and in the prisons to have ability to bring the fruit to maturity. We must quit playing games and get serious about bringing forth change in our lives. 1st Peter 1:22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever. Bring on the good fruit Oh Lord I pray.
Thank you for your prayers and support. God bless you all abundantly!!

What a wonderful blessing this afternoon to have the weather warm and cooperate with us to feed and minister to the least of these at Hope Street Ministries. A perfect day for chili and a special donation by Taylor Made Bread Co. of classic sour dough bread. Everyone really enjoyed this special treat. We also had pillows, linens, and blankets from Home 2 Suites. A good crowd for a winter day.
Joseph leading out with prayer and Jamal blessing the crew with a spiritual and much encouragement for everyone. How storms come but they don’t stay. Praise God. When going through these storms we must realize if God allowed it to happen, there must be a reason for it. A quote from Dale Carnegie; Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. Our functionality is severely limited without prayer. We encourage everyone to maximize your potential. Your life is a result of what you value. If one values their own comfort above others and whines and complains when things don’t go their way. I was shaken to hear so many criticizing the electrical line workers that put their own families on hold to work heartily to restore power to all the widespread destruction. In bitterness cold weather! I respect and salute these valuable men as they gave their best.
Thank you for your prayers and support. God bless y’all abundantly for standing in the gap. God sees all and misses nothing. Rewards will come at the right time from the One who matters most!! I’ll get off my soapbox now. Please forgive.

A very cold day at Hope Street Ministries but still had a few showed up even in all the icy streets. We were prepared to bless 3 of the warming centers as they were running short on food. We fed about 40 at Marble on Renwick along with chips, drinks, and snacks. We also dropped off some to feed about 40 at River Bend off 5th street in West Monroe. We had just enough to feed those at the Rec center in West Monroe.
Much thanks out to Joseph and Will in helping to distribute to the least of these. So appreciate to my bride helping to put ham and cheese sandwiches together with much love thrown in for good measure.
Thank you all for your prayers and support to bless so many. God bless y’all tremendously and more especially during the ice storm.

Brother Ricky and I were in pod 201 this evening and I brought the message from Luke chapter 16, the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. There was a certain rich man who wore fine clothes and feasted every day. Then there was a beggar, named Lazarus, full of sores, who laid by the rich man’s gate, hoping to eat from the rich man’s garbage. They both died, and Lazarus the beggar, went to Abraham’s bosom, a place of comfort and water, but the rich man went to torment in the flames of Hades. We realized that Lazarus the beggar must have had a relationship of faith with God, because Romans 4:3 says “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” The rich man asked for Abraham to send Lazarus to cool his tongue with water, but Abraham said “no”. Then the rich man asked Abraham to send Lazarus back from the dead to warn the rich man’s 5 brothers. Abraham said no once again, they have Moses and the prophets, The rich man begged him, because he didn’t want his loved ones to be in this torment, and Abraham said, “though one comes back from the dead they will not repent”. Interestingly, the one telling the story, was the first one to rise from the dead.
I tagged with another parable Luke 8, the sower went out to sow. Jesus explained it to them. V. 11 Now the parable is this; The seed is the word of God. What makes all the difference in the world is that it must fall in good soil to expand and become fruitful. Are you good soil today??? What is the level of your desire??? The soil can be deficient but the seed is the word and it is alive. The devil tries his best to prevent it from getting it to the designation. It takes time to reveal the mystery to those who need it most. The seed in good soil!!! The seed must expand to bear fruit with manifestation!!!
Thank you for your help and support. God bless y’all abundantly. We had 15 responding tonight. Some for salvation, others just needing a touch from heaven.

We enjoyed to the max at Hope Street Ministries having the Sober Zone crew joining us to serve and minister to the least of these. A very cold day but okay with the sun shining bright. A great day to feed the crew with chicken and rice topped off with green beans, and Cripps cornbread and delicious cake from Reba. Such a blessing serving those that need it the most. Many clothes, shoes, for young folks having many today.
Joseph leading out with announcements and prayer, and very thankful for Jamal leading us out with praise songs and a great share how we are to be the light of the world. I hammered the lid on it declaring that we should be striving to cast out devils, heal the sick, raise the dead, and cleanse the lepers. Jesus did a lot of that in His ministry and I believe that we should carry on His lead. That will probably offend lots of folks but so much needed in our nation today. Can you take the lead and bring Him the honor and glory in all that He expects us to do. Well, many are satisfied to just sit and finish out enjoying the good easy life. I like the old song, we’ll work till Jesus comes. Hope that doesn’t offend folks like most stuff does. Thanks to you all that are determined to make a difference and finish well.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support. God bless y’all abundantly!

Brother Brian excerpt from tonight at OCC.
Ricky and I ministered in Pod 301 tonight. I spoke from Matthew 7:13-28, the closing sentences of the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus says, “Enter by the narrow gate which leads to life”, however “there are few who find it”. Most are “on the wide road which leads to destruction”. Jesus is the only way to heaven, even though the world says that there are many ways. He ends the sermon comparing two identical houses. The only difference is the foundation. One built on the rock, the other built on the sand. One will stand during the storms of life, the other built on sand will fall. “And great was its fall”
I tagged with Colossians 3:23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. Jesus reads the heart. We strive to drive into these men to begin in the area of “self control” to work at it diligently as we strive to put God first in our life! Do we demonstrate that we love and care for them enough to continue visiting with them and drive home in their minds that connection with Him makes all the difference in this world. And yes we have faith that some will make the right decision and make the right choices to overcome their past and secure a fascinating future! We pray that in every meeting that God can give them their identity back as being a man of God!
Thank you all for your prayers and support. God bless y’all mightily in the name of Jesus.

I’m very thankful to have Chaplain Larry with me at Union Parish Detention Center sharing a wake up message to the men out of 2 Dorms tonight. There’s not enough room to have more Dorms to join us but we hammer hard the message no matter how many! I love to deliver a prayer and message from the Holy Spirit one on one when we have enough time but most of all see it received openly.
I get accused at times of being out of my mind knowing they are right about that because of being in the mind of Christ can be very rewarding! I along with many others have the audacity to believe that these prisoners can get a bigger picture of the real world. And can see themselves overcoming every obstacle the enemy is allowed to throw at them. Getting the drive and momentum to be an overcomer. I would love to see themselves overcoming every challenge casting out devils, healing the sick, and raising the dead. Religious folks might have a problem with that but many of us will be supporting and cheering them on being a leader that chooses to submit to God in every way. Doing it heartily as unto the Lord. Knowing right doesn’t make you do right. Again, I believe you can’t alter the kingdom of God to fit your lifestyle. Don’t shout me down when I’m preaching good! My Momma prayed it in me. It’s her fault. lol!
Thank you all for your prayers and support. God bless y’all abundantly!

We had 73 to serve on a very cool day at Hope Street Ministries. They seemed to enjoy Barbecue beef sandwiches with all the trimmings. Many clothes donations today for the least of these along with gloves, socks, and hats. Drinks, chips and snacks from Tom’s Vending always a blessing. Kelsey blessing with haircut’s for many.
Joe welcomes everyone and begins with a heartfelt prayer. Jamal setting up with a sincere message and a spiritual.
We tagged with Colossians 3:23-25. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men; v24 Knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. 25. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality. We charge all to do a check up from the neck up and choose to serve the Lord wholeheartedly.
The word of the Lord today was 1st Peter 4:18 NOW
“If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”
If, and, then, and but makes a tremendous difference in The Word. Our prayer for the least of these on our street in Monroe, Louisiana, If Jesus showed up and spoke a word, that it would be close to the words we share every Sunday to these few that show for a meal and a prayer.
Thank you much for your prayers and support. God bless y’all bountifully!!

Happy to have Brothers Stephen and Ashby from Amazing Grace Worship Center with me again tonight at OCC in Dorm 401. We were able to to pray and prophesy over all the men responding to altar call. That’s an honor to see genuine responses open to the Word and expectation of the Spirit to speak to them.
Brother Ashby giving God honor and glory for correction and helping get his life back together. I tagged with 2nd Peter 1:10-11 Therefore brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble. V.11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We all need encouragement big time to be better servants as God is searching for leaders that can submit to His leadership.
Thanks to you for your prayers and support. God bless y’all abundantly and more for all of the precious help!!!

A cool day at Hope Street Ministries on the street today. Thankful for plenty help to bless the least of these. A great feeling indeed to have special friends to serve with us again. The Meeks, the Heislers, and Diane Michels. Diane all the way from Michigan with a report of not seeing any snow is a good thing.
Pizza day today and lots of clothes to distribute to those in need. Thankful to have Joe kicking us off with announcements and prayer. Jamal joining with a spiritual and loved, this little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine went good with the message of us being in management of what God saw fit to bless us with. Knowing right doesn’t make us do right. We stand in need of much needed instruction from His Word and ability to carry it to the next level, the next dimension. No man putting his hand to the plow looking back is fit for the kingdom of God. The rear view mirror can be a big problem. Look forward keep moving. One can make a stand to be fit for Kingdom work and give God the honor and glory.
Thanks to so many for your prayers and support. God bless y’all superbly!!
