Jesus didn't just tolerate children—He treasured them. When His disciples tried to turn kids away, Jesus became angry and said, "Let the children come to Me. Don't stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children" (Mark 10:14-15).

Children aren't interruptions—they're inspirations. They show us what true faith looks like: trusting dependence, humility, and teachability. Jesus even taught that we must receive God's kingdom with the simplicity of a child. Their spontaneous worship flows from God's design, and their praise is already written on their hearts.

The challenge for all of us: Are we opening the way for children to come to Jesus, or are we unintentionally getting in the way? Children are a gift from God and a reward from Him (Psalm 127:3). Let's welcome them, protect them, disciple them, and learn from their childlike faith.

Pastor Randy continues the series "Red Letter Rebel" with the title "Childlike Faith"

Our culture glorifies independence. Jesus glorifies dependence on Him. Children show us what faith looks like.

Pastor Ibk continued the series “Red Letter Rebel” with the topic “Don’t worry”

What we expose ourselves to determines what we desire, and what we desire, we eventually pursue. If we expose ourselves to God’s Word, we will desire God. If we expose ourselves to worldly things, our desires will navigate there. Everything about this world must be viewed through the lens of the Bible

Reading: Galatians 2:20; 1 Peter 2:24

Devotional: "My old self has been crucified with Christ"—this isn't just theological language; it's the daily reality of discipleship. Taking up your cross means nailing your selfish desires, hidden sins, and worldly ambitions to the cross each morning. This isn't a one-time decision but an ongoing surrender. Jesus carried our sins to the cross so we could be dead to sin and alive to righteousness. The healing Peter speaks of isn't just physical—it's the soul-deep transformation that happens when we stop managing our sin and start crucifying it. Today, identify one "old self" pattern that needs to die. Bring it to the cross and leave it there, trusting that by His wounds, you are being healed and made new.

Reflection Questions:

What sinful pattern do I keep trying to manage instead of crucify?
How can I practice "dying daily" in practical ways?
