I thought I'd share part of my Bible reading today. It kinda cuts to the chase, as God's Word usually does.

1John 2:15 - 17

Stop loving this evil world and all it offers you, for when you love the world, you show that you do not have the love of the Father in you.

For the world offers only the lust for physical pleasure, the lust for everything we see, and pride in our possessions. These are not from the Father. They are from this evil world.

And the world is fading away, along with everything it craves. But if you do the will of God, you will live forever.

Things are changing all around us at a fast pace. Where is your heart? Where are you storing up your treasure? Are you seeking the will of God in your life?

Why not Put it on the Line, stop what you're doing right now, pray and ask God what His will is for your life?! More than ever, now is the time! You'll never regret it...May God strengthen and lead you...amen.

We're living in a time when the world is changing rapidly around us and is filled with uncertainty. None of us alive have ever experienced anything like this and it is happening all around the world.

Yet none of this has caught the Lord off guard. He has the answers in His word if we will only look into it and to Him for the peace, comfort and guidance we seek. His word is filled with truth and encouragement. It is our road map or instruction manual on how to navigate this life.

Here is but one encouraging passage that applies to everyone and I hope it blesses and encourages you today. It is something we can all take part in.

Psalms 117:1

Praise the Lord, all you nations. Praise him all you people of the earth.

For he loves us with unfailing love; the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

Praise the Lord!!

As The Nation Celebrates Mother's Day

If you had a kind, loving, sacrificial mother, Praise the Lord... many of you have.

But I want to talk to the people who haven't. And address a subject I've never heard the "Church" talk about, especially on this day. It appears to me that it is a greatly ignored subject for the most part. And yet, there is a great need out there for it to be addressed. Especially by the "Christians" and the "Church." There is huge opportunity to minister to and pray with hurting people out there inside and outside the walls of the church.

These people experience a lot of pain and guilt on this day every year. That's right...This day is not celebrated by all, contrary to popular belief. And the "Church" even seems to ignore the facts and the unmet needs.

First I'd like to start with the many women that haven't been able to have children of their own for one reason or another. This day brings a lot of pain and guilt. They feel like God is punishing them for some reason. Many of them won't even attend Church on this day because of all the pain it brings them.

Then there are the countless children, both young and old, who have not had a kind, loving, protecting, supportive mother. The children who have been abused, neglected, unloved & even abandoned.
That have been damaged emotionally, mentally and even spiritually for life because of this.

Then, there are the ones who have had alcoholic and or drug addict mothers. The ones who have had their mothers leave or divorce their fathers. And all the pain that forces the children to go through because of the mothers choices.

And then, there are the mothers who have aborted their children. Some of them multiple times....think of the pain that causes!!
What would you think that those children would think about Mother's Day?!? This is happening right in the "Church Family" folks.

I would like to encourage those children both young and old out there today that did not have a loving mother.... with this scripture.

Psalms 27:10 - :11

Though my father and mother forsake me,

the Lord will receive me. Teach me your ways,

O Lord; lead me in a straight path because

of my oppressors.

For those of us who have a personal relationship with the Heavenly Father through His Son Jesus...we are Loved... deeply loved and valued by Him...even if not by our own natural mothers or fathers. And even if we don't feel loved by Him...We are Loved.

And to those women who are unable to have children of their own for some reason. I don't have the answers for all that. And I can't take away the pain it may cause you. But, I can tell you this... that you are Loved too! God is not punishing you. You are special in His eyes and He does have a plan for you in this life!

So try to live your life to Glorify Him in spite of your lack of children... maybe you could pour your love into other children who need to be loved by another person. We all could be comforted by a few more loving people in our lives couldn't we?!

And to the women who have had abortions. I know some of them....I can't imagine the pain that that decision may cause them....I can only say...that like any other sin in our lives...if we confess them, truly repent and seek forgiveness through the sacrifice of Christ Jesus....He will forgive us of our sins!

Then, He can begin the healing process that only He can do.... bringing joy and gladness back into your life again....so that you can be a good witness for Him and help others too!

That's the Good News...we have a Heavenly Father and a Risen Savior that loves us very much! He loves us so much He paid a price we could never pay to reconcile us back into a relationship with Him through His Son Jesus. Here in this life and the eternal life to come!

Praise the Lord...

So, if you don't have a personal relationship with the Father through His Son Jesus....

Why not "Put it on the Line" today and do just that...ask Jesus to forgive your sins, be your personal Savior and surrender your life to Him.
You'll never be the same!!

And if you do have a relationship with Jesus, but have unconfessed sin or are living in a sinful lifestyle...why not confess your sin now, repent and turn back to Jesus today?! Ask for strength & guidance to truly live for Him!

So why not find someone today, huge them, tell them that they are Loved by you and a Heavenly Father! That'll make anyone's day don't you think?!

One week after we celebrated Easter.... Jesus is still King!!

Psalms 96:1-10

Sing a new song to the Lord! Let the whole earth sing to the Lord!

Sing to the Lord; bless his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.

Publish his glorious deeds among the nation's. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.

Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise. He is to be revered above all the gods.

The gods of other nations are merely idols, but the Lord made the heavens! Honor and majesty surround him; strength and beauty are his sanctuary.

O nations of the world, recognize that the Lord is glorious and strong. Give the Lord the glory he deserves!

Bring your offering and come to worship him. Worship the Lord in all his holy splendor. Let all the earth tremble before him.

Tell all the nations that the Lord is King!

I hope that blesses you this morning.
Now why not Put it on the Line and do just that!! Sing praises to the Lord and tell someone how Great He truly is!!

I just wanted to give you some encouragement today. Especially with all the uncertainty everyone seems to be dealing with lately.

It's Hebrews 10:23-25

Let us hold unswerving to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

And let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing,

but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching!!

With all that's going on in our lives and this world, all the uncertainty, we must not take our eyes off Jesus. He is still in control, can lead us forward and bring His will to pass. Even though it may be difficult for us to see that right now.

And even though the worldly governments have basically shut down all the churches, that doesn't totally stop us from meeting together. I would encourage you to meet together and encourage one another.

Jesus said "If two or more are gathered in my name, I am in their mist."

So, I encourage you to gather in His name, build one another up and encourage each other, even if it's only 2 of you. And remember, we are all one day closer to His return!!

May the Lord fill you with His Spirit, protect and guide you forward into His will...amen.

Happy Easter to all who will hear!!

Luke 24:1-7

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb.

They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lighting stood beside them.

In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He is risen!!

Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again."

Then they remembered his words.

That's another thing that makes Jesus different, God raised Him from the dead on the third day....the tomb was and is empty!!

Jesus foretold of His death and resurrection.
It came to pass...just as He said it would...so we should believe and be confident that whatever else He said would come to pass too!! That extremely Good News!!!

In spite of all that is going on around the world, True believers still celebrated the Resurrection of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ....

And I believe the Holy Spirit lead many people around the world to confess their sins, repent and accept Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord; adding to the family of God.

Maybe we should all send a little more time reading the Bible and praying for God's will to come to pass; seeking what else Jesus had to say and asked us to do; and what will happen in the future here on earth and when we're with Him again.

If you haven't asked Jesus to forgive your sins and accepted Him as your personal Lord and Savior, and agreed to surrender your life to Him...

Won't you Put it on the Line and do that today?
What are you waiting for? It's the Best decision you will ever make that has Real Eternal Value!!

Well it's a new year and things are already changing fast, in ways we would have never imagined it to be.

But don't be discouraged...no matter what things look like around us... Jesus is still Lord!!
And He will accomplish His will on earth; preparing the world for His Return!!

This is Palm Sunday...the beginning of the week the world celebrates as the Holy Week.

It appears that the enemy has been successful in closing most all the churches worldwide from gathering and Celebrating Easter Sunday. But that won't stop the true children of God from Celebrating Jesus' Resurrection...in fact it should give us all even more reason to Praise our Risen Lord!!

I wanted to share this scripture from Psalms with you, in hopes that you might consider making it a part of your prayer time this week; with all that is going on around the world...all the uncertainty....unrest...but rest assured... Jesus is still the Risen King and Lord of all.

Psalms 90:11- 17

Teach us to make the most of our time, so that we may grow in wisdom.

O Lord, come back to us!
How long will you delay?
Take pity on your servants!

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives.

Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery! Replace the evil years with good.

Let us see your miracles again; let our children see your glory at work.

And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful.

Yes, make our efforts successful!!

I pray that you all will sincerely seek the Lord with all your heart and surrender your lives to the giver of all life....the Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the King!!

Happy New Year's

Hoping & praying that God moves in a powerful & authentic way in each of your lives this new year!

I wanted to start off this year by restating the Mission Statement of Put It On The Line Ministries.

"Speak the truth of God's Word in love to people; Impact people's lives with the power of God's Word inside & outside the walls of the Church. And to help build a healthier body of Christ through serving, teaching, encouraging & praying for those in need."

Whether this is done individually or in a group setting, I will continue to look for open door opportunities to share God's word, love & encouragement with others.

My Motto is 1 Thessalonians 1:5

" because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction."

I pray that God strengthen & lead you by the power of the Holy Spirit into His will in 2019 and beyond.
