This last Thursday's Ascension Day celebration was a great success. We were honoring Jesus' ascension many years ago but the meaning is just as significant today.

Ascension Day is almost here. Come celebrate with us Thursday, May 18 at our church building. We will start with potluck dinner at 6pm followed by preaching at 7:15. After the preaching we will launch rockets the kids have made.

Tonight at the church building, starting at 7:30, we will have a New Year's Eve game night. Come join in the fun and bring whatever games, food, snacks, or drinks you would like to share.

We celebrated Ascension Day in Missoula a week early due to scheduling conflicts but the honor was all the same. We had a great evening of fellowship with a potluck, hearing from speakers Matt Mozingo, Blake Couch and Tom McDunn. We finished off the evening setting off about 20 rockets that the kids made and every one of them had a successful launch.
