Yesterday, we unpacked 2 Peter 2—a chapter that warns about false teachers and counterfeit Christianity.
Pastor Steve challenged us with a powerful question: Have you become comfortable with compromise?
Just as the serpent asked Eve in Genesis, “Did God really say that?”, Satan still works by planting small seeds of doubt and compromise in our lives. Often, those compromises are subtle. The messages of our culture can sound good, reasonable, and even appealing, while quietly pulling us away from God's truth.
That's why one of the greatest safeguards against compromise is knowing God's Word. The Bible is the living and active Word of God—the ultimate source of truth in a world full of competing voices.
The better we know God's truth, the easier it is to recognize the counterfeits.
