Honoring the beloved veterans of our congregation for Memorial Day 🇺🇸❤️

Last Sunday, our prayer table was thoughtfully prepared with photos remembering and celebrating those who have served. In honor of Memorial Day, Pastor Jan shared a meaningful sermon of gratitude, remembrance, and honor for the veterans in our church family. We give thanks for their courage, sacrifice, and faithful presence in our community.

Join us Sunday, May 31 at 10 AM as Lynnhurst welcomes our incredible Artists-in-Residence, the brass quintet Lemonbrass, for worship!

Led by trumpeter Isaac Mayhew, Lemonbrass brings vibrant, powerful music spanning a variety of styles — with a special focus on new works by Minnesota composers, including original compositions written for the ensemble itself. Their music is bold, joyful, moving, and unforgettable.

As one congregation member said best:

Education Sunday was a special time to celebrate our incredible Christian Education Committee, Sunday School teachers, and volunteers as we wrapped up another wonderful season together.

We are so thankful for the love, time, faith, and care they pour into our children and congregation all year long. ❤️

Today was something special 💛

Members of our church spent the morning volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, and together we packed an incredible 36,720 meals — enough to feed 101 children for an entire year in Burkina Faso. 🌍✨

What an amazing reminder that a couple of hours, willing hands, and joyful hearts can make a real difference.

We laughed, sang, packed meals, met new friends, and shared such a fun spirit. Huge shoutout to the absolute BEST crew at Station 4 (YEA!) 🙌 — the energy was unmatched. Great music, great teamwork, and so many awesome moments together.

Most of all, THANK YOU to everyone who joined us today and made the experience so meaningful. Your kindness, joy, and servant hearts filled the room just as much as the meals filled the bags. ❤️
