Creekside United Church of Christ, formerly Mayflower UCC Sunday summer worship from May 17 onward is at 10am in person and on YouTube https://youtu.be/iZqpsVWYiZk There is a lot located on the east side of the church.

Welcome to Creekside UCC, a vibrant, energetic and progressive congregation in Minneapolis, affiliated with the United Church of Christ. Creekside is an Open and Affirming, Peace with Justice, Immigrant Welcoming, Earthwise church. And we go about all of this in a most congregational fashion. From our community:

At the heart of Creekside is its people and its mission. Both are vital to making it

a congregation that is a dynamic place. The people of Creekside are creative, active, and diverse. The mission of Creekside is to bring the love of God and the justice of God into the world to make a difference. Those creative, active and diverse folk are committed to that mission and do make a difference in Minneapolis, Minnesota and beyond. We are located at the corner of Diamond Lake Road and 35W in south Minneapolis. Off-street parking is also available on 54th Street and surrounding streets. The church is easily accessible by bus, and is served by MTC bus route 18 and others. Go to http://www.metrotransit.org/maps-schedules to plan your trip. We encourage you to be actively involved in our page; check in whenever you're at Creekside, like, join, comment and share often! In the spirit of extravagant welcome that is the UCC, our page administration will abide by Creekside's Guidelines for Healthy Communication (4, 5, & 6 are especially relevant for social media): https://www.creeksideucc.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/HEALTHY-COMMUNICATION-GUIDELINES-06-02-2025.pdf. ONE NIGHT ONLY in MINNEAPOLIS! Join us Wednesday, June 17 (6:30-9pm) at the Riverview Theater for this important film screening of The Doctrine and Q&A conversation to follow with filmmaker Gwendolen Cates, and featured activists Mitch Walking Elk and Nina Berglund.

The Doctrine explores the legacy of the Doctrine of Discovery on driving violence against Indigenous Peoples, land, and water in the Americas and around the world. The central narrative follows a group of Indigenous youth from the Twin Cities who travel to the Vatican to confront the Catholic Church about the Doctrine and its legacy. The film exposes how the Doctrine has targeted communities of color around the world for centuries, and still today enables corporate forces driving the climate crisis.
