Exciting news! Today we are thrilled to announce the selection of Rabbi Elliott Tepperman as the next President and Chief Executive Officer of Reconstructing Judaism.

Rabbi Tepperman comes to this role with decades of service to the Reconstructionist movement, including 24 years as the spiritual leader of Bnai Keshet after graduating from Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 2002. He is a rabbi, teacher, community builder and passionate advocate for the kind of Judaism we are all striving to create: one rooted in tradition, open to question and relentlessly committed to a more just world.

The 33rd day of counting the Omer, between Passover and Shavuot, is traditionally marked with a day of parties, games and parades. Please join us for a potluck picnic (dairy/vegetarian). And if you have a musical instrument, bring it along -- this year we are again including a jam session and sing-along. Fern Hill Park has a playground for the little ones. Members and non-members, Jews and non-Jews, and people of all ages are welcome. Come eat, sing, schmooze and enjoy yourself!

The Joint Israeli-Palestinian Memorial Ceremony is the largest Israeli-Palestinian peace event in history. This year’s ceremony will be livestreamed on April 20, 2026. Organized by American Friends of Combatants for Peace and the American Friends of the Parents Circle - Families Forum, we are proud to sponsor this powerful event.
