It is well and truly over. Summerfield will never again hear the music or prayers of worship. Our members are finding new church homes. But the long history of social justice lived out through generations of congregations will live on forever in the memories of many.

the doors closed forever at the end of this service ending over 175 years of service in the city of Milwaukee.

Most other churches & programs announced last night already that they were closing today due to the "big storm." Here at Summerfield, we know that homelessness & hunger don't shut down for crummy weather. We are open with hot meals PLUS we are offering imposition of ashes to anyone who would like. We will be here till 2:00
