There are moments when the best thing you can do is simply show up.Today, our friends at St. Thomas in Menasha are firing up the grill and serving hot dogs to hungry neighbors in the wake of the tornado, because that's what communities do when communities care for one another.

One of the things we love most about this parish is how deeply they love the place they call home and the people that make up it. St. Thomas Church - Menasha, WI doesn't hesitate to swing open the doors, get people some food and space to decompress in, reminding themselves and their neighbours you don't have to face hard days alone.

Everyone please be in prayer for Menasha, Appleton and all the other hard hit regions.

🔹 Be cautious of messages creating urgency or confusion
🔹 When in doubt, contact the sender another way first

Scam emails are getting increasingly convincing, especially when they imitate legitimate services. A healthy dose of skepticism is good digital stewardship.

There is so much joy in this photo! We've got full hearts to East Central Synod of Wisconsin - ELCA!

Full communion partners and full hearts! This week the synod staff spent some time in retreat for centering, connection, and coaching and just so happened to run into some very good friends who were gathered at the same time in the same place. Many thanks to Bishop Matt and our episco-pals of the Episcopal Diocese of Wisconsin for letting us join you in worship. (Did we mention how good it was to see Pastor Brian and Mother Jane, who are connected to both our synod and the diocese?!)

We’re so glad to welcome Fr. Cam Walker—a return that feels a lot like coming home in spite of the coming season of mud and construction!

With deep Wisconsin roots, this next chapter is grounded in something meaningful: joining a community already rich in faith and stepping into the unfolding work God is doing here. We’re grateful for the ministry that’s come before and excited for what’s ahead. Welcome, Fr. Cam!

It’s VERY grey out today. The kind of day where the sky forgot to have a personality, and the coffee is doing all the heavy lifting. Also the kind of day where a bit of encouragement may be needed.

So, friends, here’s your dose of uplift for today. If you’ve ever wondered what difference the Church actually makes in someone’s life, this is a story worth reading—honest, hopeful, and a reminder that grace shows up in real, everyday ways.

This Saturday, April 18, at 10am the Kettle Moraine Region will gather for a Confirmation & Reception Service at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church in Hartford—a joyful moment of commitment, belonging, and faith.

As they take this next step, we invite you—across Washington, Dodge, Waukesha, Jefferson, Fond du Lac counties, and throughout the diocese—to lift up the confirmands and those being received in your prayers.

🙏 Pray for courage as they say yes.
🙏 Pray for community to surround them.
🙏 Pray for the Spirit to guide what comes next.
