What happened to you may have shaped parts of your story, but it doesn't get to write the ending.

Joseph's life shows us that betrayal, trauma, injustice, and years of suffering are not beyond the redeeming hand of God. And ultimately, Joseph's story points us to Jesus- the One who was rejected and suffered innocently so that broken, sinful people could be forgiven, made new, and given a new identity.

God can redeem what others meant for evil.

Sometimes the strongest people are the most exhausted.

After one of the greatest victories of his life, Elijah found himself overwhelmed, afraid, and ready to give up. Instead of meeting him with condemnation, God met him with compassion.

There’s a powerful lesson here for every one of us who has ever felt like we were running on empty.

One year in 🙌 and we're more convinced than ever that every conversation, every prayer, every act of compassion, and every step toward recovery matters.

Thank you for helping us love people well. The stories God is writing are worth it.💙🙏💪

One year ago today, I publicly announced the launch of Hope Recovery Services.

To be honest, I had no idea exactly what the next year would look like.

There have been victories, open doors, and incredible moments where I’ve had the privilege of watching God transform lives right in front of me. There have also been challenges, setbacks, disappointments, financial stress, long days, hard conversations, and more than a few moments where I questioned whether I was doing enough or if I was even capable of carrying what was in front of me.

But through it all, God has been faithful.

This past year has reminded me that ministry isn’t always a stage, a pulpit, or a visible platform. Sometimes it’s sitting with someone in their pain. Sometimes it’s answering a late-night phone call. Sometimes it’s helping a family navigate crisis. Sometimes it’s simply listening when someone feels like nobody else will.

Hope Recovery Services has never just been a business to me. It’s been what I’ve often called “a ministry disguised as a business.” A place where faith, recovery, mental health, discipleship, coaching, encouragement, and practical support can come together to help people find hope and take their next step forward. And now we’ve added Hope Recovery Ministries as an outreach arm to the community~ creating even more opportunities to serve, encourage, equip, and walk alongside people both inside and outside of recovery.

I’ve had the honor of walking alongside individuals, couples, families, churches, treatment programs, and recovery communities this year. Every conversation, every session, every prayer, every testimony, and every person who trusted me with part of their story has been a gift.

I’m also deeply grateful for my wife Lisa, my family, friends, supporters, referral partners, churches, clients, and everyone who has encouraged, prayed for, shared a post, made a referral, or simply believed in what God was building through this work.

One year later, I don’t feel like I’ve “arrived.”

If anything, I feel more aware of how much I still have to learn, how much I still need Jesus, and how much hope people are searching for.

The mission remains the same:

To help people find hope, healing, purpose, recovery, and ultimately life in Christ.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Here’s to another year of showing up, trusting God, loving people, and reminding those who are struggling that as long as there’s breath in their lungs, there is still hope.

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” ~Romans 15:13

If you're breathing, it's not too late.

You haven't outrun the grace of God. You haven't sinned your way beyond His mercy. Stop listening to the voice that says stay away.

Come home.

Not everybody pushing help away is hard-hearted. Some people are exhausted, ashamed, afraid, and deeply bound.

The good news of the gospel is that Jesus still meets people in broken places and brings restoration where nothing else has worked.

We’re grateful for every person who helps us continue bringing that hope to others.

Sobriety alone isn’t the finish line.

Real recovery reaches deeper ~ into the heart, the mind, identity, and the wounds people have carried for years.

Jesus doesn’t just call people out of darkness… He makes them new.

No matter how far things have gone... there is still hope.

The gospel isn't behavior modification ~ it's redemption, restoration, and new life through Jesus Christ.

God is still calling people back to Himself.Still restoring what's been broken.Still making all things new.
