The next series we will be going through is "The Love Dare". We are so looking forward to going through this with each other and other married couples.

The cost for the series is $20 for materials (each couple receives 2 "The Love Dare" books-not the sharable type due to the personal journaling involved in it).

The money is due on the first evening (9/12). Please don't let the $20 keep you from coming. Please email us and we'll work it out if the cost is a deciding factor for you.

We will meet at Refuge in the High School Room at 7pm on the following dates:
> Sept. 12
> Sept. 26
> Oct. 10
> Oct. 24
> Nov. 14
> Dec. 12

We will again do the ever popular dessert potluck (Oreo Cupcakes anyone?!) and rotate the couples that will bring dessert so we don't fall into the sin of gluttony:) Haha!

Please let me know if you are planning to attend the series (if you haven't already signed up at the Blue Tent or let me know online) and we will order the books. Also, let me know if you will be taking advantage of the free babysitting provided here at Refuge (provide ages & names).

A short side note on part of our purpose for The Link...We recently heard a message from a well known pastor speaking on small groups. He said, people go from "attending to attaching" when we meet in "circles not rows". He reiterates the need for us to meet together "in rows" for teaching and exhortation, but stresses the growth produced in our lives and the family of God when we step out and choose to really invest in one another's lives through small group meetings. So, if you have already heard all you need to hear on marriage;) pray & consider whether the Lord may want to use you to minister to another couple. And if you are newer to Refuge, what a great way to "attach". We're REALLY nice;)

Here are the upcoming dates for the remainder of "The Five Love Language" classes. Its not to late to join us. We had a great week. We have 32 couples coming and you can join one of the round table small group discussions.
Apr. 25: Ch. 7-9
May 9: Ch. 10-12
May 23: Ch. 13-14
June 13: Small groups eat out together (more details to come)

If you are reading this you are probably looking for something to do...we need some help at the church and anytime you have would be great! We are loading Operation Christmas boxes into the back of a truck and we have a lot! Just show up today anytime before 5pm and lend a helping hand. Thanks! Your time really is appreciated.

Hey All!
Just a reminder that the Link will not be meeting on our traditional 2nd friday of this month this month (tonight). We will begin our Art of Marriage series next friday, Feb. 15th. A lot have signed up and we can't wait to experience this series together. If you are wanting to come and have not let me know, please do so as we need to make sure we have enough study guides for you all.
