Even some of the greatest heroes of the scriptures like Paul could admit that following the call of God sometimes comes with weakness, fear, and trembling. When crying out to God in his weakness it was one simple response:
“Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.””
Acts 18:9-10
Courage is not the absence of fear, it’s not a clear picture that everything will turn out perfect. It’s the reminder that Jesus is present with you. It’s not a temperament, it’s a response to His presence.
You don’t have to feel courageous in order to be courageous.
Some notes from this Sundays message taking a behind the scenes look at Paul’s journey in Corinth.
We’d love to see you this Sunday at 9 AM + 11 AM at Garden Huntington Beach or Costa Mesa!
