SUNDAY WAS SOMETHING SPECIAL. 🎓🙌

This past Sunday we paused the usual rhythm to do something that matters just as much as any sermon: we celebrated people. We honored our students and recognized our high school graduates in front of their church family, and the room was full of joy, tears, and everything in between. Then we worshipped — and worshipped hard.

Some Sundays teach you something. This one just made you feel it.

- Our graduates were seen, called by name, and sent forward with love and prayer

On Friday, June 19th at 6:00 PM, we're hosting a Juneteenth Celebration featuring the powerful Dr. Jamal Rasheed, followed by a Community Dinner.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is worth celebrating, heritage is worth honoring, and community is worth building. We believe the Church should be at the center of that celebration — and this year, we're doing just that.

We've all had a lot of "hallelujah" moments.

You know the feeling — something clicks, you feel genuinely moved, ready to act. And then life happens, and that fire slowly goes quiet.

Pastor McClendon called it out directly Sunday: we've got to move from a lot of hallelujah... to some do-you-lujah.

And that wasn't just a punchline. It was a challenge.

Because this series — and honestly this moment for our city — isn't asking anyone to feel something. It's asking people to *do* something. There's a difference, and most of us know exactly which side of that line we've been living on.
