We are currently reserving space for children ages 1 to 5 years. The program PDO is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45 AM until 2 PM.

PDO will also have a delayed start tomorrow. We look forward to seeing everyone at 10:45 tomorrow morning.

❗Update❗TWO HOUR DELAYED START THURSDAY

All Midlothian ISD schools and offices will reopen Thursday, January 29 on a two-hour delay for staff and students. Buses will also operate on a two-hour delay. Schedule details have been emailed to district families.

MISD administrators have been driving roads today assessing conditions of bus routes, neighborhood streets, school parking lots and sidewalks. Today’s warmer temperatures and sunshine has greatly improved conditions and melted nearly all of the precipitation we received earlier this week.

A delayed morning start provides daylight during the morning commute for our high school drivers, all staff including those traveling from other cities, and bus drivers. Additionally, temperatures are expected to be above freezing and forecasted to reach 36 degrees by 8 a.m.

Students, families, and staff are encouraged to dress in preparation for cold weather. Our transportation department and campus staff will work to be as efficient as possible regarding morning drop-off procedures and bus pickups. Schools and buildings will be warm and ready to welcome staff and students.
