Longbranch Baptist Church We desire to see all generations connecting in Christ. Sunday Bible Study @ 9:45a and Worship @ 11a.

Longbranch Community Baptist Church is a colony of the Kingdom of God on earth. We are a family of born again, baptized believers who are bound together and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are committed to carrying out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ through the preaching and practicing of God's Word. We are the visible, incarnate presence of Christ to a lost world. We are the source of light to those in darkness and hope to those who desire to walk with Christ.

It's Pastor Appreciation Month, and we have 2 of the best at Longbranch Baptist Church! Both Pastor Brent McNeal and Pastor Scott B. Poteet love the Lord their God with all their hearts, and they love His Church and His people! When they're not studying to teach and preach God's Word, you'll usually find them serving the church in every imaginable way. From dealing with the destruction of the flood we experienced in the spring and renovations that have followed, to leading our kids and youth to camp each summer, our pastors do it all with smiles on their faces, joy from the Lord in their hearts, and they have fun in the process! Remember to pray for your pastors always and offer a word of encouragement to them this month, when you're able!

We had a fantastic night at Longbranch with our families for Equip, our family discipleship group! We had great food & fellowship! Our KidBranch kids had fun in their rotations reading Scripture, praying, and applying the Bible to everyday experiences. And our Youth went deeper with their HEAR journals (Highlighting, Explaining, Applying, and Responding to Scripture) and continued Bible verse memorization. Thanks to everyone who joined in and everyone who worked so hard to make tonight so great! 💙

We'll see the ladies for Bible study tomorrow at 1:30, in-home Connect Groups continue to meet on Wednesday evenings, and we'll be back for worship next Sunday! Have a blessed week, everyone! 💙

We'll meet every other Wednesday evening through mid-November, beginning with a meal at 6 PM. It's not too late to join us next time on September 30th 6:00-7:30 PM. 💙
