Little Blessings Preschool Ministry Ovilla Church of Christ

Little Blessings Preschool Ministry is a ministry of Ovilla Church of Christ. We also have several fact finding field trips throughout the year.

We provide a Christian based curriculum designed to build a foundation of learning. Our program is rich in learning and gives children many different opportunities for hands on educational experiences. Our curriculum helps develop skills, including cognitive and language development and fine and gross motor skills. It also allows extensive social interaction under careful supervision, as well as e

motional and spiritual growth. We also introduce kindergarten readiness skills, such as letter, number, color, and shape recongnition, along with developing writing and reading skills. Our children enjoy arts and crafts, music, story time, computer time, as well as play time. Each teacher is dedicated to providing the best, safest, and most loving learning experience for your child.

Change is hard! That is why this announcement is extremely difficult!
Lorri, Rhonda & I are retiring from Mother’s Day Out on July 29th.
This was a very hard decision, one that we did not take lightly. We have had a lot of prayer & tears about this.
I have been Directing at Ovilla for 23 years, and total of 29 years with teaching. Lorri has been teaching at Ovilla 25 years & Rhonda 17 years. It has been such a privilege to be able to work all of these years with two of my best friends. I couldn’t have done it without y’all, nor would I want to. We have had other wonderful teachers come & go over the years, but the 3 of us have been a constant.
It has been an honor to have been blessed to help teach your children. They have definitely taught us a thing or two as well! We truly love all of the kids and families we have had over the years. You are family to us.
We are so very grateful for all of the love & support we have had over the years!
We would absolutely LOVE to see all of our past & present students and families again and give you a big hug! You are invited to a come & go Mother’s Day Out Reunion, Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 2-4 (come & go) @ Ovilla Church of Christ.
Even if you can just pop in for a minute and say hello, we would absolutely love it! We will have snacks and lots of pictures from over the years! (No gifts please!)

It’s a bird 🦅 It’s a plane✈️ It’s a superhero! 🦸🏼‍♀️🦸🏽🦹🏼
We made capes, mask, jumped in the bounce house, played spider web game & knock down the villains! Scout & Chloe tied for the spiderweb game & Scout won the face off! Good job girls!!💪🏻

Red, white & blue, bounce house, sack races, ring toss & popsicles!
Miss. Ruby showed us how to do the sack race. She was also, such a good sport wearing the ring toss eagle hat! 😂 Steel, Indy, Daisy & Chloe got the ring on the hat!
Edit! I forgot, we did an experiment too! Fireworks in a jar!❤️

Backyard Circus Day! We had SO you fun! We pretended to be lions & tigers & jumped thru the ring of FIIIRREE!!! We walked on a tight rope way up in the sky, lifted 200Lbs, and played a bean bag toss game! 🎪🐘🐅🤹🏼‍♀️❤️

Safety Day 2025 🚴🏻‍♀️🛴🚦 The kids did amazing following the arrows and going in the right direction! We had a drive-thru car wash, but the big hit was the manual one! They loved washing their bikes with the water & sponges! There was always a line at the gas pump! We have beautiful chalk pictures everywhere! And of course we all had 2 popsicles! I think everyone is worn out! I know the teachers are! 😂❤️😍
