Since our founding in 1828, we seek to live as a community who worship God together and love our neigbors through welcoming them in to be fed, clothed and cared for through relationships. First Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) with a robust outreach to our neighbors in downtown Memphis. days led by our pastor, The Reverend Dr. Kori Phillips McMurtry and our worship team. With a rich history of faith and service, our community of about 100 members continues to feel called to serve our neighbors from the corner of B.B. Our Soup Kitchen and Clothes Closet ministries provide a hot meal to about 150 guests each Sunday afternoon at 1:15 pm, as well as assistance with birth certificates twice a month. First Pres is grateful to gather people from all over metropolitan Memphis to worship and serve together. We invite you to visit and see what we're all about as we continue seeking to meet the spiritual and physical needs of our members and neighbors.
