Trinity is now accepting volunteers for our fall/winter season of Room in the Inn. We have a very powerful story and history with this ministry and are excited to be reclaiming our connection.

Every Thursday, we have coffee with folks from the community at the Galloway church entrance from 7:30 until 10:00. Come hang out! As always, pups are welcome.

The power situation at the church has not changed since last night. We have SOME power. We do not have air. It will not be sweltering. It WILL be warm. We are not baking this morning, as we do not wish the church to turn into an oven. Worship is at 11:00. We are still unsure if there will be live stream. Please come. We have worked hard to prepare for you.

‼️Friends of Trinity, please be aware.‼️

It is our intention to have worship in the morning, in person, no matter what. Currently 1/4 of Memphis is without power. That’s huge! Somehow the church is on 2 different circuits. Half our building has power, and the other does not. The half that controls the HVAC does not have power at the moment. For our folks who worship via live steam, internet in the Center is up in the air as well. A random assortment of outlets are functioning correctly while others do not (including outlets in the kitchen). If this scenario persists through the night and into the morning, and it very well may, be prepared to be a little warm in church. Be prepared to not have the breakfast goodies we always do. Be prepared for the livestream to be down.

😁 Also, be prepared for everything to be back up and running. There’s no way to tell right now.

Please be in prayer for your neighbors who don’t have power right now. Please check on your neighbors as you are able. As always, love your neighbors.

In a season of great divide, maybe you need a place where you already belong.

Church can be scary and overwhelming. We get that. All we can say is that we’ll promise to make it easy, promise you’ll feel at home, and promise we’ll make mistakes (admit them) and laugh together.

We worship tomorrow at 11:00. Dress is whatever you have on. Nothing is taboo. Perfection isn’t required. Judgement is not the practice.

Come just as you are.
