Kickoff weekend is next weekend, September 11-13! Kickoff is our time to come together and celebrate the beginning of Idlewild's new programmatic year.

⚾️The weekend will start with a fun Friday night at the Redbirds Game on September 11 with food, baseball, and fellowship. And our very own Reverend Mary Newberg Gale will throw the first pitch! Register in Realm today!

⛪️ Then join us for Kickoff Sunday, September 13 as we return to two services 8:30am and 11am. This will be a time to re-engage your faith, reconnect with one another, and discover where God may be calling you to learn, serve, lead, and belong during the coming year.

It's good to be back! Last Sunday, we welcomed 25 middle and high schoolers back to Youth Group. Our youth spent the evening sharing a meal, reconnecting, and learning together. They used Paul's wisdom from Romans to begin building a covenant for their fellowship. We hope all our youth will join the fun this Sunday! Youth Group begins for middle schoolers at 5:30p in 305W - Jones Building and for high schoolers at 6:30p in Montgomery Hall.

The children of Idlewild are ready to rule the school! 😎📚 Last Sunday's Blessing of the Backpacks and Back-To-School Bash was a hit! Over 50 students received a special blessing for their school year and received Pocket Hugs during worship. The celebration continued in the gym with pizza, face painting, bounce houses, and a wonderful time of fellowship!
