How often do we pray without stopping to consider how we pray? In Sunday’s sermon on the Lord’s Supper, Pastor Heiple challenged us to be more intentional in our prayer lives, sharing the timeless wisdom of Matthew Henry and the things we should ask of the Lord each time we come before Him in prayer. What a powerful reminder as we begin a new week!

What a beautiful day the Lord blessed us with! 🍂🎃 Providence Presbyterian Church’s 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat is officially in the books, and fun was had by all.

A HUGE thank you to Adam Shaffer and the PPC Outreach Committee for making this special event possible! Your hard work and dedication helped create a memorable day for our church family and the community at large.

For God to have been created, would mean that there would have been a time when God was not. But God always was. He WAS in the beginning (Gen. 1:1; John 1:1). God does not have a beginning because He was not made. There is nothing absurd about the possibility of a being having no beginning or end.

To say that God is a spiritual being is to say that He is not comprised of any atoms or cells, but on the contrary all of His being is incorporeal and non-physical. We know of many things non-material: thoughts, feelings, desires, convictions are all nonphysical, real things. God made all physical matter but God Himself is not composed of such stuff, and therefore He is in no way limited by physical objects or space.
