The challenge in this video is simple: if we can place confidence in a chair, why do we struggle to trust the God who has never failed? Faith is not pretending problems don't exist. Faith is choosing to believe God's Word more than your fear. When He says He will provide, heal, strengthen, and remain with you, His promise is more dependable than what you see in the moment.

Today, lean your full weight on God. He is able to hold you up. Watch Part 2 of Faith Walkers on youtube.com/tjmcbrideministries

On Sunday, I told T.O.P. how I reserved a rental car, and when I got to the counter, customer service told me they ran out of cars. I had a confirmation number that said otherwise. So what did I do? I stood on what I reserved and what was confirmed to me. Even if there is confusion at the counter, the confirmation tells me what belongs to me is already accounted for.

The same principle applies to the promises of God. His Word serves as confirmation for the believer. When God says He will provide, heal, restore, and deliver, His promise becomes the basis of our confidence. There will be moments when answers seem delayed, and situations look unchanged. Yet believers stand on the assurance that God's Word is true. We continue trusting because God’s word cannot return to Him unfinished. If He said it, it’s a matter of fact that it will come to pass.

God is able to do just what He said He will do. He’s going to fulfill every promise to you. Don’t give up on God because He won’t give up on you. He’s able!

It's normal to want a fully realized plan before making that leap, but waiting when God has instructed you to move can quickly hinder you and turn into disobedience. Faith is always moving and in action. Faith trusts God's character even when circumstances have not yet changed.

In Luke 17:14, Jesus told ten lepers, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” What makes this instruction so powerful is that they were not healed right then and there. The Bible says, AS THEY WENT, they were healed. What does this show us? They had to obey first. Their faith was demonstrated through movement.

Perhaps God has told you to start the business, return to school, or pursue the assignment He placed in your heart. The temptation is to wait until everything makes sense. But often God reveals the next step, not the entire journey. Your breakthrough is dependent on your next act of obedience. Trust God enough to take the step He has already asked you to take.

The ten lepers in Luke 17 were told to go show themselves to the priest before there was any visible evidence of healing. They had a choice: stand still until circumstances changed or obey what Jesus said. Their miracle happened AS THEY WENT.

Some of the greatest breakthroughs in your life will begin with obedience before understanding. You may not see how the business will grow, how the family will heal, or how the provision will come. But if God has spoken, His Word is enough reason to take the next step. Watch Part 2 of Faith Walkers on youtube.com/tjmcbrideministries

One of the enemy's greatest tactics is convincing you that you are incapable of what God already called you to do. Excuses feel safe because they protect us from risk, disappointment, and responsibility. But they also keep us trapped. Every excuse builds another wall around our faith, our confidence, and our future.

God never intended for you to live imprisoned by fear, doubt, or insecurity. Believe in Him, and believe that what He placed inside of you has purpose. Today, break every agreement with every excuse and step into what God has prepared for you. Watch Monday’s devotional and prayer, “No More Excuses,” on youtube.com/tjmcbrideministries

Excuses rarely sound like rebellion. Most of the time, they sound reasonable.
"I'm too old."
"I'm too young."
"I don't have enough experience."
"I don't have enough resources."
"I don't have enough support."

Yet if we're not careful, those excuses become prison bars that keep us confined to a life far beneath what God intended. The enemy loves to keep people trapped in cycles of hesitation and self-doubt. Why? Because as long as you are convinced you cannot do it, you'll never discover what God can do through you.

The Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Faith is not only believing God exists. Faith is believing what God says about you. It is trusting that the gifts, talents, abilities, and calling He placed inside of you were not mistakes. Today, I challenge you to identify the excuse you've been hiding behind and surrender it to God. Do not allow one more thought, one more fear, or one more insecurity to keep you from walking through the doors God is opening.

The enemy cannot stop God's plan for your life, but he will try to get you to agree with fear, doubt, and unbelief. When pressure rises, pay attention to your words. In this season, make the decision to stop rehearsing the problem and start repeating God's promises. Your words should reflect what God said, not what fear is saying.
