We would like to remind you that a memorial service for Beau Watson has been rescheduled for this Saturday at 3:00 PM at McDonough Presbyterian Church.
All former McYouth are invited to attend and are welcome to sit in the reserved pews on the right-hand side of the sanctuary.
If you have any stories or memories of Beau from your McYouth days, please text Destiny, we would love to help honor his life through shared memories.
Please continue to keep his mom, Cynthia, and the rest of Beau’s family in your prayers during this time.

We loved having former McYouth back in the youth room for Real Talk Wednesday!

Ben shared about his new business, The , and how his faith has shaped his journey. It was so meaningful for our students to hear his story, ask questions, and see what living out your faith looks like beyond youth group.

Thank you, Ben, for spending time with our students and reminding us that God is at work in every season!

What a day for MPC and McYouth!

We started the morning planting the first tree in the Henry County Community Gardens orchard, then our youth and parents headed to Atlanta for the Hunger Walk.

A little rain tried to slow us down … but it didn’t stop the fun or the mission. Proud of this crew for showing up and making a difference! 💚

I’ll be making Mary Hay Chicken, and I need a few of you to help out by bringing:

Then it was the high school McYouth’s turn in Highlands!

What an incredible time of fellowship, games, laughter, and growing deeper — all while being rooted in God’s love.

So grateful for this time together and the memories made in the mountains!

Yesterday our middle school McYouth headed home after an amazing few days filled with snow tubing, hiking, worship, and so much fun in the mountains of Highlands!
As one group wrapped up, we picked up our high schoolers — and now it’s their turn for an incredible week in the mountains!

Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we spend this time together — for safety, deeper connections, and moments rooted in God’s love.

Yesterday our middle schoolers woke up in the mountains of Highlands!

Our plan was to drive to our worship spot, but the storms had other ideas — so we gathered together and watched our church service online instead.

During the sermon, Pastor Davis reminded us that “God calls us into the cloud.”

And wouldn’t you know it… once the storms passed, we drove anyway to our worship spot and found ourselves surrounded by clouds on the mountain.

So of course, we had our own cloudy mountain worship moment.

Sometimes plans change.
Sometimes storms roll in.
But God still meets us — even (and especially) in the clouds

Our McConfirmation crew has been BUSY — and crushing it.

Now they’re more than ready for Winter Adventure in the mountains next week
Time to relax, reset, and have some fun together.

So proud of these youth and the way they show up to serve.

In support of Helping in His Name Food Pantry, we invite everyone to "block the chancel" by bringing in as many non-perishables and canned goods as possible! The children will also be collecting money in soup pots as you exit the Sanctuary. Let's come together and support our neighbors in need!

Hi everyone, Cynthia (Beau’s mom) has decided to postpone Beau’s memorial service due to the possible weather and concern for the safety of family and friends traveling to attend. I will let you know as soon as a new date is decided.
