This morning, we’ll turn our hearts to Luke 15:17–24 and the beautiful moment when the prodigal son “came to himself” and decided to go home. What awaited him was not
condemnation or rejection, but a father who was watching, waiting, and ready to welcomehim with open arms.
There are mes when we all find ourselves feeling distant from God—because of our choices, our circumstances, our doubts, or simply the busyness of life. Yet this passage reminds us that no matter how far we’ve wandered, the Father’s heart is always toward us. His grace meets us on the road home, and His love restores what we thought was lost.
Perhaps you need to come home to God in a fresh way this week. Perhaps someone you love needs to be reminded that they are never too far gone to receive His grace. Or perhaps God is calling you to be the one who welcomes someone else home with compassion and love.
Come ready to hear, “Welcome home.” There is grace for the journey, forgiveness for the past,
and joy in the Father’s house.
