The first week of September hasn't feel much like September yet, but hopefully cooler weather will be on the way. We hope you can join us at Willington this Sunday, September 6th for worship services.
Also, keep in mind the Old-Fashioned Fish Fry is set for the 2nd Sunday of September with Larry Freeland bringing music for the event around 4:30 and then we will eat around 5:00. Special thanks to everyone who has caught fish and will cook them. It always is a fun event at the church for the community.

We had a large crowd at Willington on August 16th and it was great to see everyone at church. We hope all will join us this Sunday which is a 5th Sunday at 10:45 for services. Being a 5th Sunday, we will have church again on September 6th so plan on being a Willington two Sundays in a row. It is always good to worship together so join us at Willington where everyone is welcome.

It will be a special service this Sunday at Willington on August 16th remembering the late Alberta Gibert Peurifoy Yandle and her daughter, Paula. We welcome members of the family along with many of our friends joining our congregation at Willington. We are having our quarterly Communion Service and potluck luncheon after the service. Worship with us this Sunday at 10:45 for services at the Willington Presbyterian Church, 937 Moss Avenue, McCormick SC.

It was a good day for the Commemoration of the French Huguenot's arrival in New Bordeaux in 1764. The rain held off and the day was a bit cooler. We appreciate Dr. Tim Keown for hosting the event at the SC Governor's School of Agriculture at De la Howe. It is always good to see the accomplishments and to hear the great things going on at the school. We appreciate Elizabeth Gay, Executive Director of the Huguenot Society of SC, for a great presentation on the Marion family. We also appreciate everyone who came and brought food to make the day special.

WOTW and the Willington Presbyterian Church will host the 262nd French Huguenot Reunion this Sunday, August 2, 2026 with registration at 10:00 and the program at 11:00. The program will be held at the newly renovated De la Howe Hall auditorium at the SC Governor's School of Agriculture. The address is 192 Gettys Rd., McCormick, SC 29835. Huguenot descendants will gather for the event, but you don't have to be a descendant to attend. Come and enjoy the day and learn more about the French Huguenots who came to New Bordeaux in 1764. The attached flyer provides more information below.
NOTE: There will be no services at the Willington Presbyterian Church this Sunday so our congregation can attend the Huguenot Reunion. We look forward to seeing you there.

Posting the bulletin for July 19th. Note the upcoming activities in the bulletin. Also, we will not have church services on August 2, 2026, so everyone can attend the Huguenot Reunion at the SC Governor's School of Ag on that day. You don't have to be a Huguenot descendent to attend, and we have a Elizabeth Gay from the SC Huguenot Society lined up as our speaker for the day. Communion Services and lunch afterwards on August 16th and the FIsh Fry in September. We have a lot of things happening at the Willington Presbyterian Church. Come and join us for a great worship service this Sunday.

Posting the bulletin for Sunday, July 5th. This is a special Sunday and celebration for our country - 250th anniversary of our independence that was celebrated on Saturday, July 4th but continues with other festivities. We are thankful to our God who is sovereign over all.

Posting the bulletin for the first Sunday in June. Pastor Scott will be preaching on "Having Faith" and this is something we can all get behind. Scripture says Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. A good sermon for this Sunday for sure. Join us at Willington this Sunday at 10:45 a.m. where everyone is welcome.

Posting the bulletin for the fifth Sunday of May, Trinity Sunday. Trinity Sunday is the first Sunday after Pentecost in the Western Christian liturgical calendar. It is unique because, unlike most church festivals that commemorate a specific event or person, it is dedicated entirely to a core doctrine: the celebration of the Holy Trinity—God as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Join us at Willington for this special Sunday to worship the Triune God (God in three persons).
