Our beautiful Queen, Latoya Wideman, represented us in AGD WMS Annual Queen’s Contest.
Latoya, affectionately known as Toya, is an active member of Zion Chapel where she faithfully serves as a Stewardess and assist in various areas of ministry. She regularly attends Sunday School to grow her knowledge of God’s Word and strengthen her faith. She also helps with the church offering collection and enjoy serving wherever she is needed. One of her greatest joys is singing and using her voice to praise and glorify God.
Personal Achievements
One of Toya’s greatest personal achievements has been overcoming the societal judgments and limitations often associated with her disability. She refused to allow those perceptions to define her or hold her back from pursuing her goals and living a fulfilling life. Through faith, determination, and perseverance, she has learned to embrace her uniqueness, remain confident in who God created her to be, and inspire others to overcome their own challenges.
Her Hobbies
Toya enjoys playing basketball because it keeps her active and teaches teamwork and discipline. She also love working crossword puzzles, which challenges her mind and help sharpen her problem-solving skills. In her leisure time, she enjoys shopping and spending time finding things that reflect her God-give, unique personality and style.
