A look back at a meaningful month across The Salvation Army Northern Division.

Throughout May, we shared stories of lives changed through God’s grace, celebrated the volunteers and supporters who make this mission possible, and continued investing in the next generation through Christ-centered music programs.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support The Salvation Army Northern Division and help us serve our communities across Minnesota and North Dakota. We’re looking forward to all that’s still ahead.

Today, we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit—the fire that ignites our faith, the wind that moves us into action, and the power that enables us to serve our community here in Blue Earth County and North Mankato.

Just as the early church was transformed and sent out, we pray that God fills us with His Spirit anew today so we can continue "Doing the Most Good" with love, boldness, and compassion.

Last night we gathered to celebrate the incredible volunteers who help carry out the mission of The Salvation Army Northern Division.
Across Minnesota and North Dakota, we are supported by more than 22,000 volunteers — and we truly couldn’t do what we do without them. From food programs and youth work to bell ringing and beyond, their impact is felt every day.
We also took time to honor our Volunteers of the Year and hear powerful stories from those serving in our communities.
To every volunteer: Thank you for your time, your heart, and your commitment.
