This July, the Minnesota Twins and The Salvation Army are teaming up for Christmas in July to help provide food, shelter, and care for neighbors in need across Minnesota and North Dakota.

Camp officially kicked off today with Teen Camp, but last week our Northwoods Camp staff spent time preparing for the summer ahead.

From team-building on the low ropes course to learning camp skills and traditions, staff from Minnesota, North Dakota, and around the world came together to get ready for an incredible summer of serving campers.

Today at church we had the joy of celebrating the amazing fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, father figures, and mentors in our congregation.

Thank you for your love, guidance, strength, and faithful example. Your influence reaches far beyond what you may ever see, and we are grateful for the ways you reflect God’s love through your care for your families and our church community.

Fatherhood is a high calling. Throughout Scripture, fathers are encouraged to lead with faith, teach with intention, and love with patience and grace, following the example of our Heavenly Father.

Today, we celebrate and thank all fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, foster fathers, and father figures for the love, guidance, and support they provide every day.

🍕❤️ Special Guests at Today's Noon Feeding Program! ❤️🍕

Today, The Salvation Army in Mankato was honored to welcome the Little Caesars Love Kitchen, serving fresh, hot pizza for100 community members during our Noon Feeding Program. The Love Kitchen travels across the country providing meals and support to communities in need, and we are incredibly grateful they chose to spend part of their day with us.

A warm meal can provide more than nourishment—it can offer comfort, connection, and hope. Thank you to the Little Caesars Love Kitchen team for helping us serve our neighbors and reminding us that kindness truly makes a difference.

🍽️ About Our Noon Feeding Program

The Salvation Army's Noon Feeding Program is a free community meal offered Monday through Friday from Noon to 1:00 PM at 700 South Riverfront Drive in Mankato. The program is open to the public, dine-in only, and no registration is required.

This important community resource is funded in part by United Way and meals are proudly catered by Hy-Vee. Whether someone is experiencing food insecurity, looking for fellowship, or simply needs a warm meal, everyone is welcome at our table.

Together, through partnerships and community support, we are helping ensure that no one has to face hunger alone. ❤️
