That’s a wrap on Service & Sun 2026! ☀️❤️

Over the last three days, 21 youth and 8 adults from four Mankato-Area churches (Bethlehem, Centenary United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church of Mankato, and Epiphany Lutheran Church - Eagle Lake, MN) partnered together for three days filled with hands-on service, games, daily devotions, fun excursions, and a treat to end each day. On Monday, we weeded Living Earth Center’s gardens before heading to rock climb at MSU and celebrating with Mom & Pops. On Tuesday, we got up extra early to drive to Global Health Ministries in Fridley before enjoying movie treats while seeing Toy Story 5. On Wednesday, we played with kids and cleaned at MYPlace before taking a dip at Tourtellotte with a Fro-yo grand finale. What a great week of meaningful service, fun adventures, and many new friends!

Yesterday, our Service & Sun group visited Global Health Ministries. We brought newborn kits from Bethlehem, sorted supplies, and packed a shipping container headed for Tanzania. We got to see some of our friends from Southeastern Minnesota Synod, ELCA and took part in blessing the shipping container with the leadership of Bishop Patricia Lull from the Saint Paul Area Synod, ELCA. It was a lovely day!

Our youth and adult leaders had a wonderful first day of Service & Sun on Monday weeding and helping to care for the Blue Earth County Community Farm!
