A reminder that St. John’s has implemented updated entrance procedures during Mass.

The following entrances will be locked five minutes after Mass begins and reopened following the Communion procession:
• Door 4 – Parish Office entrance
• Door 7 – Park-side entrance of the office building
• Door 13 – Adoration Chapel entrance
• Door 14 – Alley entrance near Liberty St.
• Sacristy door

The main church doors, Doors 2 & 3, will remain unlocked throughout Mass.

These updates are part of a proactive review of parish procedures. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

In this Sunday's Gospel, Jesus calls Himself the living bread that came down from heaven. He is not offering a symbol or an idea. He is offering Himself.

Every time we come forward for Communion, we are invited into something more than a weekly routine. We are invited into a relationship with Christ, who desires to remain with us and give us His life.

The Eucharist is God's reminder that He has not left us to walk through life alone. He continues to meet us, nourish us, and draw us closer to Him.

Children ages 4 – 9 are invited to join us this summer for stories of the saints, activities, snacks, and time to grow in faith together.

Ushers help welcome parishioners, assist during Mass, and support the parish in practical ways throughout the liturgy. Individuals, couples, older teens, and families are all welcome to serve.

John 3:16 is one of the most familiar verses in Scripture, but sometimes we move past how personal it really is: “God so loved the world…”

Not because the world was perfect, or because people had everything figured out, but because God’s love is constant, even in our brokenness.

Jesus was not sent to condemn the world, but to save it. That means we do not live our faith out of fear of rejection from God, but from the security of being deeply loved by Him.
