Calvary Chapel Manitowoc Teaching the truths of God found in the Word of God. www.ccmanitowoc.org Therefore we worship the Father through Jesus Christ and are guided by the Holy Spirit.

Calvary Chapel of Manitowoc is a non-denominational Christian church that believes the Bible is inspired by God, infallible, authoritative and inerrant in the original writings. Because of that, we place great emphasis upon teaching the Word of God verse-by-verse so that God may instruct us in our walk with Him and how we can truly worship Him. We believe that there is only one God who is eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory. The purpose of Calvary Chapel of Manitowoc is to help people attain a meaningful relationship with God and with others in an environment of love, acceptance and forgiveness - equipping them to do the same. This is done through believing in and receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We grow by going through the Word of God and learning how to apply the truths of God to our lives. We also believe that personal and corporate prayer is important in our lives and the remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice on our behalf, by participating in the Lord’s Supper together. We believe that God’s Word empowered by God’s Spirit brings people to saving faith as Paul tells us in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”

The Bible study at Calvary Chapel of Manitowoc for Thursday October 29th will be our verse-by-verse study in the book of Ruth. Mike Braun will be sharing with us chapters 3-4 of Ruth.

As you read through this book, you see the hand of God at work. The book’s central message is that God works through faithfulness, kindness, and ordinary people to bring about redemption and blessing.

The book of Ruth ends by showing that Obed becomes the grandfather of King David, connecting Ruth's story to God's larger plan for Israel.

And the big picture is the story of our Kinsman Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Who has paid for our ransom and has set us free from the bo***ge of sin, paying in full the penalty for our sin. What a story we have!

We hope you can join us. The study begins at 7:00 pm and Calvary Chapel is located at 1208 South 10th Street in Manitowoc. If you can’t make the study you can listen on the radio at 96.3 FM or on-line at ccmanitowoc.org. You can also check out all our studies on-line, the audio and written notes on the entire Bible for free. May the Lord bless you as you grow in Him!

The Bible study at Calvary Chapel of Manitowoc for Sunday October 25th will be on II Thessalonians chapter 3 as Steve Krause will share with us.

In II Thessalonians chapter 3 Paul is going to write to them regarding the Establishment of Christian Living.

Paul is calling for them to walk accordingly, to walk in the light of God by the grace of God given to them.

He calls for them to withdraw from those who are disorderly or not following the doctrine that God has established in His Word.

He calls for those who were lazy, just sitting back and waiting for the Lord to return I guess, and thus, they were busybodies, not doing anything, not working.

Thus, this is a practical section where the rubber meets the road you might say.

The application of sound doctrine to our lives or walking worthy of the high calling by which we have been called knowing that the Lord can return at any moment for His Bride, the Church!

The study begins at 10:00 am and Calvary Chapel is located at 1208 South 10th Street in Manitowoc. If you can’t make it to the church, you can listen on the radio at 96.3 FM or on-line you can watch the study live at ccmanitowoc.org. The Bible study at Calvary Chapel of Manitowoc for Thursday October 22nd will be our verse-by-verse study in the book of Ruth. Mike Braun will be sharing with us chapters 1-2 of Ruth.

The book begins during a famine in Israel. Elimelech, his wife Naomi, and their two sons leave Bethlehem and move to Moab. Elimelech dies, and later both sons also die, leaving Naomi and her Moabite daughters-in-law, Ruth and Orpah, widowed.

When Naomi hears that the famine in Israel has ended, she decides to return to Bethlehem. She encourages Ruth and Orpah to stay in Moab and rebuild their lives.

Orpah eventually stays, but Ruth makes a famous declaration of loyalty. “Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay.”

Ruth chooses to follow Naomi to Bethlehem and embrace Naomi’s people and God.

And then, back in Bethlehem, we see Ruth introduced to Boaz, their kinsman redeemer! An amazing story!
