Overwhelmed by the task in front of you? Nehemiah reminds us that God meets us in the middle of what feels impossible.

This week, we looked at four ways to face overwhelming seasons:
🙏 Pray – seek God first
📝 Plan – move with wisdom
🤝 Persuade – invite others into the mission
💪 Persevere – don’t quit when opposition comes

Whatever feels broken or overwhelming in your life, God is still in the business of rebuilding. Pray. Plan. Persuade. Persevere.

Prayer is more than bringing a list of requests to God; it’s a reminder of our dependence on Him. Sometimes prayer changes our circumstances, and sometimes it changes us as we learn to trust Him more deeply.

No matter what season you’re in, God invites us to bring everything to Him. 🙏

This week in Nehemiah, we were reminded that even in difficult seasons, we can have hope because God is at work.

As Nehemiah shared his burden for Jerusalem, we see four important truths:

🔹 God Sees Our Position – He knows exactly where we are and can use us there.
🔹 God Hears Our Prayers – Nehemiah paused to pray before responding, trusting God for guidance.
🔹 God Prepares Our Hearts – God was already preparing Nehemiah for the work ahead.
🔹 God Provides – God opened doors and supplied everything needed for the task.

Nehemiah’s faith wasn’t just about praying, it was also about taking a risk. He stepped out in obedience and trusted God with the outcome.

No matter what burden you are carrying today, remember that God sees you, hears you, prepares you, and provides for you. Because of that, we can be both heavy hearted and hopeful.

Reflection: Is prayer your first response or your last resort? And what risk might God be asking you to take to pursue what He has placed on your heart? 💙🙏
