Real hope is trusting God for who He truly is, not who we expected Him to be.

It can be easy to think of faith as something that mainly happens on Sundays, inside a church building, during worship, or while listening to a sermon. But throughout Acts 11, we see believers living out their faith in everyday places with everyday people. Their lives became evidence of the Gospel.

The early church didn’t wait until everything felt comfortable or convenient to share Jesus. Even in uncertainty, they continued to speak hope, encourage one another, and build a strong Christ-centered community. Because of their obedience, lives were transformed.

One small detail in Acts 11 stands out: Barnabas encouraged the people to “remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose.” Faithfulness wasn’t meant to be occasional; it was meant to become their lifestyle.

This week, ask yourself:

How can I reflect Jesus outside the walls of the church?
Who around me needs encouragement, kindness, or truth?
Am I living with steadfast purpose in my daily life?

Sometimes reaching people starts with something simple, a conversation, an invitation, a prayer, or showing love when it’s unexpected. God uses ordinary moments to do extraordinary things.

As we move through this week, may we remember that the Church is not just a place we attend. We are the Church everywhere we go. 🤍

What happens when the Church goes beyond the walls? Lives change. 🙌

This week, Pastor Jed reminded us that the Church was never meant to stay inside a building; we are called to GO. Through Acts 11, we saw the early church passionately:

✨ Leading people to Jesus
📖 Teaching God’s Word
🙌 Worshipping in Spirit & truth
🤍 Building Christ-centered community
🌍 Reaching the world with His love

The believers in Antioch didn’t just attend church… they became the Church. And because of their faithfulness, “a great number believed and turned to the Lord.” (Acts 11:21)

Our mission is still the same today:
ONE Purpose. ONE Mission. ONE Vision.

Let’s live our faith beyond the walls this week.

Happy Mother’s Day 💙

Today, we honor the women who have shaped us, prayed for us, and loved us in ways that reflect the heart of God. We’re grateful for moms, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, and every woman who pours into others with care and faithfulness.

We also recognize that today can be complicated. For some, it carries grief, longing, or loss. Wherever you find yourself, we want you to know that you are seen, valued, and loved.

Thank you for the ways you reflect God’s love in both big and small moments.

One Last Thing | Romans 16:17–27

As we close out the book of Romans, Paul leaves the church with one final encouragement and warning.

👀 Watch Out

In Romans 16:17–18, Paul urges believers to be on guard against those who cause division and distort truth. Not everyone who speaks confidently or persuasively is leading people toward Jesus. Some are driven by their own desires, using smooth words to mislead.

The call is clear: stay anchored in sound doctrine and be discerning.

🧭 Stay Grounded

Paul reminds the church of what matters most:

Submit to God
Pursue Jesus
Love sacrificially
Build the Kingdom

This is the foundation for a unified, healthy church.

🧠 Wise & Innocent

In verses 19–23, Paul celebrates their obedience but challenges them to grow:

Be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil.

We don’t need to experience sin to understand it, but we do need wisdom to recognize it.

And there’s a promise:
God will ultimately defeat evil.
“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.”

🙌 A Life of Worship

Paul ends with a powerful reminder in verses 25–27:
God is the One who strengthens us, reveals truth, and draws people from every nation to Himself.

Our response? Worship.
A life that gives Him glory, not just in words, but in how we live.

✨ Final Thought

In a world full of noise, opinions, and division, we are called to stay rooted in truth, walk in obedience, and keep our focus on Jesus.

Because in the end, it’s all about Him. 💙
