Our hope is found in Christ, and our help comes from Him, too. This week, Joshua Meyer reminded us that we belong to Christ and that He gives us victory over sin.
First, hope. Then, help.

Our hope begins with abiding in Christ, remembering that we are God’s children, and living in light of His return. But is our hope merely informational, something we know in our heads, or is it transformational, changing the way we live?

Our words and actions should reflect our relationship with the Lord. When our hope is truly rooted in Jesus, it shapes our decisions, priorities, and how we respond to the world around us.

And when we struggle with sin, we don’t have to fight in our own strength. We identify sin, remember that Jesus has already won the victory, and trust that God is at work in us.

This week, take a moment to reflect: Is your hope in Christ transforming your everyday life? Where do you turn for help when you struggle?

May our lives reflect the hope we have in Jesus and the victory He has already secured for us. ❤️

MIDWEEK RESET

Sometimes we need to slow down and ask ourselves: What has been shaping my heart lately?

The things we give our attention to have a way of influencing who we become. When we turn our hearts toward God through His Word, prayer, and everyday obedience, He continues to shape us to reflect His character.

Worship isn't just what happens on Sunday morning. It's found in the choices we make on an ordinary Wednesday, in how we treat others, what we prioritize, and whether we're willing to trust God even when it's difficult.

A small midweek challenge: Take a few minutes today to step away from the noise, open God's Word, and ask Him to realign your heart with His.

What pulls your heart away from Jesus?

In 1 John 2:15–27, we’re reminded that the world is constantly competing for our hearts. The desires, values, voices, and ambitions around us can slowly pull us away from the truth of Jesus if we aren’t careful.

So how do we stay faithful?

❤️ Guard your heart. Pay attention to what shapes your desires, your thoughts, and your decisions. What captures your heart will influence the direction of your life.

📖 Hold on to the truth. Many voices compete for our attention, but God’s Word remains our foundation. Through the Holy Spirit, we are guided in truth and reminded of who Jesus is.

We all face things that pull at our hearts. The question is, which pull are we choosing to follow?

Let’s keep growing in faithfulness to Jesus, one choice at a time.
