After our Children’s Christmas service yesterday, K-8 kicked off our last day of school before Christmas break with a movie and hot coco in the gym with our Spartan Squads!

Article #2 about the WELS 175th Anniversary. Many of the pastors who served our synod had been trained in Germany. But the heads of the synod realized they could not rely on that source of workers. A seminary was founded to train pastors who would serve in the U.S.
