A Message from Our President

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Throughout my pastoral ministry, I had heard that going on an international mission trip would be a life-changing event. However, I had no idea how life altering it would be until I got on a plane in September 2010 headed to Kigoma, Tanzania, and the spiritual adventure of a lifetime. Never before had I seen so many people who we

re so open to the gospel. In just one week, God used our team to lead over 2,600 people to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I am so thankful that God took away all of my excuses for not going. While in Kigoma, I had something else extremely profound happen to me. In the midst of this mighty movement of God, He brought me under a deep conviction of our responsibility to make disciples and not just converts. He put a heavy burden on my heart not only to plant new churches “to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8, NKJV), but also to ensure that each of those churches has a pastor who has been equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively disciple new believers. Under the Lord's direction, that burden was the genesis of EPPIC Ministries International. Two-and-a-half years after that first mission trip, I stepped down from the pastorate so that I could devote my full energy to turning that burden into a reality. If you would like to see your spiritual life raised to a whole new level, join us on an EPPIC Journey for Christ. Missions update from Kalomo:
Day 3 is in record books and it was another amazing day. This awesome team of US and National Missionaries shared the gospel with 3,481, had 2,822 give their lives to Christ, and discipled 1,995! This brings our three day total to 10,828 heard; 8,940 received; and 4,815 discipled! We still have three more days left, so please keep the prayers coming.

Missions Update from Kalomo, Zambia:

Through the first two days of our six day campaign, God has used this awesome team to share the gospel with 7,347 and 6,118 of them prayed to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! We have also had 2,820 attend the afternoon discipleship sessions. Thank you for your prayers and please keep them coming.

The last two days have been quite busy but such a blessing. On Sunday, we were in Kasempa to visit with and receive the two-year end-of-cycle final report from the 18 pastors that we helped plant new churches two years ago. The great news is that all 18 churches are alive and well and two of them have each planted a second generation church. Today we stopped on our journey back to Lusaka in Solwezi and got the opportunity to visit again with many of the 22 pastors that we helped to plant 22 churches in the Solwezi area three years ago. The absolutely amazing news is that these churches have planted six more second generation churches over the past 12 months! This brings their total of second generation church plants to 8 over the past three years! This is what we are talking about when we say “short-term missions — long-term results.”
