Hats off to Pastor Ray McGuire and the Meharry Boulevard Church Family for their outstanding services and their outpouring of love given to us Sunday, May 15, 2022. We were blessed beyond measure to be reminded that God restores. The sermon was very timely; the prayers were befitting; the song service set a kindling fire within us; and your financial gifts will certainly enable us to further the progress of our church. You were the first to visit our church since the illness and passing of our Pastor. You told us you would come see about us and you came! Indeed, we are grateful! Two things shall forever be remembered: Your discerning our need and your taking it upon yourself to come see about us. We commend you for being led by the Spirit of God and obeying His command. As Gomer Pyle would say, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Let me say that you "broke the ice,” but we have more hurdles to go through--those being the first anniversary commemorating the death of our Church Mother, Mother Lizzie Stevens, July 12; our 95th Church Anniversary, on August 7, which will be dedicated to the memory of Elder McDermott; and the first anniversary commemorating his death on September 29--we still solicit your prayers for strength to endure.

May God forever bless each of you and sustain you with power to continue to be a true servant to mankind! We love you very much!

The members of The Church of God Sanctified at 328 Houston Street, Madisonville, TN are indeed grateful to all of the saints who have been sending up prayers on our behalf during the illness and loss of our three eldest members and shepherd of the flock in the persons of Sis. Warnell Davis, Mother Lizzie Stevens, and Elder Leuty McDermott. As the grieving process continues, we are still holding on to the teachings we have received from our devout leaders and the encouragement from each of you. Your visitations during their illness and death, your contact via e-mail and the telephone calls we are yet receiving from the Ministers of the Gospel are strength to our souls.

Special thanks to Bishop G.R. Hill, Overseer William Birdsong, Bishop Zack Flack, Bishop John Batts, Bishop Dwight Frazier, Elder Ray McGuire, Elder Ricky Cade, Elder Eric Satterfield, Elder William Haymer, Elder Thomas Glenn, Elder Charles Harris, Deacon Marvin Burris, Deacon Earl Williams, and Deacon W.A. Wilkerson for going the extra mile.

Regeneration of our strength is happening through the nourishment of God's Word from Bishop G.R. Hill and Elder Ray McGuire during our Sunday Worship Services and our Wednesday Bible Studies. It energizes our souls just to know that we have not been forgotten and that the Lord has provided us an avenue to which we can still hear His Word.

Although our hearts are overwhelmed, we know that there is a Rock that we can go to that is higher than us. Continue in prayer for us that we will allow God's hand to lead us through any circumstances and trials that come our way, trusting completely in Him. May God's blessings and peace rest upon each of you.

Willie S. Benton, Secretary
