What a weekend! We have the most amazing, wonderful and beautiful youth. was filled with great music, moving worship and terrific speakers who challenged us throughout the weekend.

We welcomed first-timers, continued traditions started many years ago and even tried a few new things. The discussions in our small group back at the cabin always reinforce how truly special, resilient and awesome these young people are.

Now, let’s take that excitement and energy and spread God’s Good News to all!

No Sunday Worship on January 12th

Happy Saturday First UMC members and friends! We have decided to cancel Sunday morning worship tomorrow out of an abundance of caution. I have gotten word that our lower parking lot/side walks are still fully covered and icy, and our upper parking lot promises to be icy in the morning. Rather than risk anyone falling or getting injured, we want to invite you to stay home and stay safe tomorrow. We look forward to seeing you again on January 19th for worship at 10:30 a.m. as normal.

Wednesday night is one we will not soon forget. It was absolutely incredible to watch these beautiful youth get either baptized or confirmed. What a beautiful day! Thank you, God!
