🚨 THE BRIDGE IS TONIGHT! 🚨

Young Adults, join us tonight as we continue our conversation and build on what we discussed during our last session.

Last time, we explored the importance of healthy correction—both giving it and receiving it. Tonight, we’ll go deeper with:

🌉 Session 13: Correction Without Destruction — Giving & Receiving Truth in Healthy Ways

📖 Proverbs 27:5–6 | Galatians 6:1

Many relationships struggle not because correction happens, but because people either correct harshly or receive correction defensively. Tonight, we’ll discuss how truth, accountability, and emotional maturity impact our relationships, spiritual growth, and mental well-being.

Topics include:
• The biblical purpose of correction
• The difference between correction and criticism
• Why people avoid difficult conversations
• How pride can hinder emotional and spiritual growth
• Giving correction with grace and receiving it with humility

📖 Month 4: Mental Health & Spiritual Peace
How Scripture guides us through stress, anxiety, and uncertainty.

Whether you joined us last session or this will be your first time, there’s a seat for you at the table. Come ready to engage, share, listen, and grow in a judgment-free environment.

✨ Key Principle:
Correction should heal and strengthen relationships, not damage dignity.

We are pleased to share the wonderful news of Bro. Terry Coleman Jr. accepting the call to preach and minister the Word of God. Through his humility, faithfulness, and obedience to God’s leading, he has demonstrated a sincere love for the Lord and a heart committed to serving His people.

While Bro. Terry has already stood before the congregation and delivered his initial sermon, we are excited to hear what God has placed upon his heart for this special occasion. As he continues to walk in his calling, we celebrate this significant milestone in his ministry journey.

We invite you to join us as we worship God together and support this young man during his Ministerial Licensing Service. Let us come together in prayer, encouragement, and fellowship as we affirm the work that God is doing in his life and commission him to move forward in the purpose and path that God has ordained for him.

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord asking: Who will I send? Who will go for us? I said: Here I am. Send me.” — Isaiah 6:8

Men, if your schedule allows, I encourage you to attend this powerful Mental Health Conference this Saturday.

Too often, men carry burdens in silence, believing they have to face life’s challenges alone. The truth is that strength is not found in suffering quietly—it is found in having the courage to seek support, share your struggles, and invest in your well-being.

Mental health affects every area of our lives—our families, relationships, careers, ministry, and personal growth. Events like this help break the stigma and create a safe space for men to have honest conversations, build meaningful connections, and gain tools for living healthier and stronger lives.

Remember:
✅ It’s okay to ask for help.
✅ It’s okay to talk about what you’re carrying.
✅ It’s okay to prioritize your mental and emotional health.

If you’re available this Saturday, consider attending and inviting another brother, friend, son, coworker, or fellow church member to join you. One conversation can make a difference.

🚨 Friendly Reminder! 🚨

Join us tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM for our Baptism Service during worship!

This is a special opportunity to publicly declare your faith in Jesus Christ and celebrate the inward transformation that has already taken place through salvation. Baptism is a powerful symbol of being buried with Christ and raised to walk in newness of life.

If you have been considering baptism but haven’t signed up yet, there is still time! We would be honored to celebrate this important step with you.

Remember, baptism is not about joining the church roll or becoming a member of Mt. Sinai Family Worship Church. It is a symbolic act of obedience, faith, and identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

All are welcome to come worship, celebrate, and support those taking this next step in their faith journey.
