This morning I had the pleasure of joining the congregation of First Baptist Church of Lucedale in Worship during their 8:30 am Worship Service and, meeting their new pastor, Bro. Coale Jordan and his wife Alecia.

Join me in prayer for First Lucedale and the Jordan’s as they begin this new chapter of ministry.

I then had the privilege of joining the congregation of Rocky Creek Baptist Church for their 11 am Worship Service.

Join me in praying for Rocky Creek, Bro. Paul, their staff and leadership as they begin to navigate the process of ministry after the loss of their activities building to a fire.

Good Afternoon Facebook, Family, Friends, and Ministry Partners!

Update 09/02/26

I have had several of y’all reach out to get an update on Melinda.

I am truly thankful for each of you, your prayers, and support.

Melinda had started doing better the last couple days. But! There seems to always be a “but”.

She started coughing and not feeling well yesterday. I took her to get checked out today as the cough was growing worse. Along with all of her other issues, she now has pneumonia in her right lung.

This has started triggering some of the Alzheimer’s and Sundowners issues.

Her mobility is somewhat worse due to her growing weaker from the pneumonia.

Home Health measured the incision today, as she does once a week, it is not quite as deep as it was. The healing process has begun but is slow.

This is going to be a long process.

I just wanted to send a quick update before Prayer Meeting.

GGBA MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

It is getting time for the Annual GGBA Sr. Adult Revivals.

The meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, September, 22nd @ Barton Baptist Church and Thursday, September 24th @ Cedar Grove Baptist Church

There will be a Community Choir(anyone that wants to sing in the Choir) beginning @ 10:00 am

Worship will begin @ 10:30 am

Lunch will follow

Ronnie Turner will be leading Worship

Dr. Eddie Davidson will be preaching in both meetings
