FOUR FOUNDATIONS OF IMMANUEL’S VISION
We see ourselves as a church firmly founded on Word and Sacrament, rooted in Christ, Scripture, and in the teachings of the Lutheran Confessions. We see ourselves as disciples, joyfully involved in a continuous journey of intentional spiritual growth, holding ourselves and each other accountable to the Marks of Discipleship. We see ourselves as believers livin

g in true community with each other, valuing healthy, loving, vibrant relationships among all those who call Immanuel home. We see ourselves as a church that is evangelical, reaching out boldly to the lost and hurting in our community, taking risks and getting out of our comfort zone so that we may, like St.

What do you do when God's promises seem impossible?

Abraham's story begins with a promise that made no sense—and a God who remained faithful through it all.

Hope isn't wishful thinking.

It's trusting the One who always keeps His word.

What is "hope against all hope"?

It's the kind of hope that remains when circumstances say otherwise. The kind of hope that doesn't depend on what we can see, understand, or control.

Abraham experienced it. And ultimately, that hope points us to Jesus—the One who brings hope no matter what we're facing.

🌸 Sharing God's love, one flower at a time. 🌸

Before the end of the school year, our Kindergarten and 1st Grade students planted flowers that were delivered to homebound members of our church family. What a beautiful way to remind others that they are loved, remembered, and connected to their Immanuel family.

Thank you to our students for spreading joy and brightening someone's day with these special gifts! 💐❤️

☀️ This Sunday we begin our summer worship series, A Summer of Hope.

Over the next several months, we'll journey through Romans, Matthew, and key Old Testament accounts, discovering the hope our Lord gives in both expected and surprising ways.

This week, we begin with Abraham—the father of faith and hope—and the promises God made to him. Through Romans 4, we'll see that God's promises come by grace through faith, ultimately pointing us to Jesus, the fulfillment of every promise and the source of our hope.

Join us as we begin this journey together and discover the life-changing hope found in Christ.

We often think spiritual growth comes through big moments, dramatic experiences, or life-changing breakthroughs.

But what if growth happens somewhere else?

What if it happens in the quiet faithfulness of everyday life—trusting God, showing up, persevering, and following Jesus one step at a time.

Sometimes the most powerful work God does in us isn't flashy at all.

These are just some of the faces that help make Immanuel a Family Place and a community of Radical Hospitality. ❤️

Following Commitment Sunday worship, we gathered around tables, shared a meal, enjoyed conversation, and celebrated what God is doing in and through His people.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make the brunch possible—from setting up the gym and preparing delicious breakfast casseroles to serving, cleaning up, and everything in between. Many hands truly make light work, and we are grateful for your servant hearts.

Thank you for helping make Immanuel a place where people feel welcomed, connected, and loved.
