Good news. We will be proceeding with Haustrblòt. Because of the location of this one, we will be posting a video of it later rather than a live stream. Please feel free to color along with the attached image during the decoration part.

Heads up! We plan on doing Haustrblòt on the 9th, which is a week from today. We will be off site for it so we won't be live streaming (spotty signal where we're going) but we're going to try recording then posting the video for folks to follow along to. We're also planning on posting a colouring page so people can decorate/colour a horse while following along to the recording.

We are thinking of streaming our Midsummer Blot this weekend. It's uncertain if we will be able to or not or if it'll be Saturday (after 10pm our time, likely) or Sunday. I'll try to give at least 24 hours notice if we do.

We finally did our beginning of summer blòt. The irony of doing it when it was in the low 70s earlier and we're now under a winter storm warning isn't lost on us. Anyway, here's our omen.

Today is Transgender Day of Visibility. Being visible as a trans/nonbinary person is really hard right now. The visibility we're getting has been overwhelmingly negative lately and every day there's something in the news about our rights being stripped away, violence against trans/nonbinary people, or other scary things.

TDoV is supposed to be a lighter, happier day to contrast with Transgender Day of Remembrance but this year it just doesn't feel that way this year.

We call upon our government to stop scapegoating trans and nonbinary people. We also ask for Odin to protect transgender and nonbinary people everywhere and for Loki to release the cleansing flames of chaos and change.

We see you and support you even if you're not feeling happy about today and even if you're not feeling safe to be visible right now.
