Dear Zion Family and Friends,

Yesterday, our dear Sister in Christ Sarah Gall died. Sarah was a light for many in our community, always present with a helping hand or listening ear. Her faithful service, kindness, and deep joy will never be forgotten, and the legacy of her love will live on through everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. We give thanks for Sarah’s life and pray with fervent hope in the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We remember and pray for Sarah’s family and friends, especially her husband, Soren, her children, Nolan and Josie, her parents, Florence and Alan, and so many others who carry both grief and love.

Many people have asked how they can support the Gall and Doksansky families at this time. Please continue to hold them in prayer, and if you are able to give in support of the GoFund Me, this is a way to provide direct aid in the coming weeks. I want to express my gratitude and awe for the incredible generosity of this community that has already been shown.

One of the best ways we can support Sarah’s family is by showing up for each other in community and prayer. For anyone needing a space to process the news of Sarah’s death, myself, Pastor Jeff, and Intern Pastor Max are available to talk.

For anyone needing a space to commune with our Lord in prayer, the sanctuary and chapel will be open and available today until 4:00, Thursday 8:30-3:00, and by request over the weekend. Please contact [email protected] if the church building is locked. We will also offer healing prayers on Sunday morning at the 8:30 and 10:30 services.

Please keep an eye out for future communications regarding funeral arrangements. Sending love to our Zion community.
