SUMMER IN THE SPIRIT

Tuesday evenings in June, you’re invited to complement our worship exploration of the Holy Spirit - God's Presence and Power at Work in Us.

Bring a “brown bag” dinner if you wish and gather in the Gallery.

Each session includes a roughly 5-minute video and a group conversation, based on Adam Hamilton’s new book.

This weeks session: John's Gospel contains some of Jesus' richest teaching about the Spirit. Here, the Spirit is described as the Paraclete—a companion, advocate, counselor, and helper who comes alongside believers. Participants will reflect on how the Spirit brings new birth, refreshes our lives like living water, and continues Jesus' presence and guidance among his followers.

LoveFirst helped sponsor the presentation, and Pastor Michael joined the panel discussion following the film. Along with our co-sponsors, we’re hopeful this is a step toward alleviating homelessness in Loveland.

The screening came at a pivotal moment in Loveland’s ongoing debate over homelessness.

This past Sunday, we celebrated Pentecost in a powerful and beautiful way at LoveFirst Community!

One of the greatest joys of the day was witnessing the baptisms of two young men publicly declaring their faith in Jesus. What an incredible reminder that God is still moving, transforming lives, and calling people closer to Him.

Don't miss this on Saturday! Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness.

As part of our continuing Legacy Mission to help eradicate homelessness, LoveFirst Community is joining with our partners from Together Colorado to present this important documentary and community conversation.

Beyond the Bridge explores how communities can address homelessness in a comprehensive and compassionate way. Following the screening, local leaders from city government, healthcare, nonprofit organizations, faith communities, and individuals with lived experience will come together for a meaningful panel discussion, including our very own Pastor Michael Stein, about the pressing issue of homelessness in Loveland.
