What a wonderful day at the Crescent Hill Garden Tour we had this past Saturday!

United Crescent Hill Ministries was honored to be part of this year's event at the beautiful Peterson-Dumesnil House. We enjoyed meeting neighbors, sharing our mission, and connecting with so many members of our community.

A special thank you to the Crescent Hill Garden Club for including UCHM and for hosting such a successful event. Opportunities like this help us strengthen community connections and share the work we do every day through our emergency assistance, senior programs, and youth services.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth—we loved meeting you!

Sixty-six people came  to the United Crescent Hill food pantry today. When I started volunteering 4-5 years ago, 24 visitors was a giant day. Yet as need has risen, government food assistance has fallen drastically. We need grocery and toiletry donations. You can drop them off at 150 State Street Mondays through Thursdays from 10 am to 4 pm. Items needed: Chef Boyardee meals in a can, such as lasagne or rigatoni, canned corn, Spam, tuna fish, canned chicken, soups, cereals, tea, coffee, milk, butter, cheese, meat of all kinds, lunch meat, canned beans, pasta, tomato sauce, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper.
