Dear Faithful,

An Easter Basket Blessing will take place after Mass tomorrow. Easter baskets should be placed on the provided table near the Altar prior to the beginning of Mass.

Also, everyone wishing to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt after tomorrow's Mass, please bring your basket to the St. Martha room following Mass to join in.

Please find the attached recommended reading list that Fr. Hatty mentioned this past Sunday (2/15). Physical copies of the list will be made available at St. Benedict's. As mentioned, if you're unable to find a copy of the book yourself, please speak with a bookstore representative.

Dear Faithful of St. Benedict’s,

Happy Feast of St. Timothy!

Please forgive me for telling you that Mass will be cancelled for this Sunday, January 25th, due to the Winter storms. It is not a decision that I like to make, but I do think that it is necessary both for the priest and the faithful of our chapel.

Of course, due to the weather, there is no obligation for you to go to Mass. Do please try to sanctify the Sunday by spiritual reading and by setting aside time for prayer as a family, especially the Family Rosary. Another good exercise is to read through the prayers and Propers of the Mass slowly, trying to think about them.

I have included a link to the Seminary Livestream if anyone would like to follow a Mass and hear a sermon. Additionally, I have included a link to Fr. Garno’s series of sermons on Marriage and the Family which, as I mentioned a few weeks ago, I cannot recommend too highly, and which would be an excellent way to sanctify the Sunday.

You are all in my prayers and my Masses each day, and I hope to see you all next week.
