Illuminate is the student ministry of Lockport Alliance Church. We meet weekly for everyone in grades 7-12. Check us out! What's with the name?

Illuminate Student Ministries is the middle school and high school ministry of Lockport Alliance Church. It's purpose to come alongside teens in grades 6-12 to spur them on in their faith. Whether you love God with all your heart, have some questions about who He is, are mad at Him, or just don't know if He's real, Illuminate is here to help you on the journey of being a teenager. We've got a safe

place where you can come and just be you! Wednesday nights bring fun, games, food, friends, worship, discussion, and teaching. You don't want to miss it! -- and we don't want to miss the opportunity to hang out with you. Illuminate is a fancy word for bringing light to darkness. You turn on a lamp to illuminate a room. We want to be people that light up our dark world with the bright light of Jesus. Scripture says the following things about being light:

"For God, who said, 'Let there be light in the darkness,' has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ."
-2 Corinthians 4:6

"You are the light of the world -- like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father."
-Matthew 5:14-16

What a fantastic night with the senior high girls from Illuminate! Bible bags, impromptu karaoke, snacks galore, and fellowship! We had a blast seeing everyone's creativity, cant wait to see your bags on Wednesday nights!!

Guys! We need to postpone the tubing adventure scheduled for tomorrow. We are disappointed but dangerously cold temperatures mean we need to keep you safe. The new date is 2/28, same time, same place, weather depending! Please spread the word!

Our annual Illuminate Student Ministries brunch fundraiser was such a sweet reminder of what community looks like. These youth showed up at 7am ready to serve — flipping pancakes, cooking sausage, cutting fruit, making coffee, picking up breakfast pizzas, and decorating so our church family could enjoy fellowship before service.

Watching these kids work together with joyful hearts and servant attitudes never gets old. We’re so proud of them and so grateful for a church body that shows up to support and encourage them. Merry Christmas and God bless!

We are so grateful for the youth at Lockport Alliance Church! 💜

Because of their canned food drive, we were blessed today with a special delivery of food and even baby formula to help stock our small pantry. What a wonderful example of young people inspiring generosity in our community.

A big thank-you to everyone who gave and to the Lockport Alliance youth for leading the way. Your kindness is making a real difference and sharing hope with families in need.

What a weekend 🤎. 20 teens and leaders camping, hiking, worshiping, and spending time with Jesus. Could not have asked for better weather and fellowship. Jesus is the calm in the storm.

Come out and help a good cause! Our youth group will be selling chicken dinners today to help pay for their travel expenses to attend the LIFE Christian Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. Why make dinner when we've got you covered!

Tonight!!! Youth group night at LASERTRON. Please bring $40 for food and two rounds of lasertag. Meet at church at 4:30, leaders will drive students to LASERTRON and bring them back to church at 8. Like or comment if you plan to attend!!!
