Last Sunday we spent time learning how Jesus is our Savior. This week, we’ll unpack what it means for Him to be our Sanctifier.

As Pastor Chad shared last Sunday:
“God is not selfish. God is not keeping things from us. He has given us everything — Himself. All we need to do is respond.”

Come join us this Sunday as we respond to the call Jesus has on our lives. 🤍

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice reminds us of the words of Jesus in The Bible: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we never forget the cost of freedom and may we continue to pray for the families of the fallen, our military, and our nation. 🇺🇸

From all of us at Common Places, we remember. We honor. We give thanks. 🤍

Nothing in this world holds together without Jesus at the center.

He is more than a good teacher or a distant story — He is our Savior, our hope, our peace, and the One who changes everything.

This Sunday, we’re continuing our FourFold Gospel series as we dive deeper into who Jesus is and why He still transforms lives today. Come worship with us, bring a friend, and discover what it looks like to make Christ the center of it all. 🤍

We’d love to see you this Sunday!

It’s easy to make Jesus important without actually making Him central.

But from beginning to end, it has always been about Him. Not just adding Jesus into our lives, but surrendering every part of our lives to Him.

Because when Jesus is truly at the center, everything changes. ✝️🤍

Join us as we continue to dive deeper into our new series, “The FourFold Gospel” where we discuss who Jesus is and the mission we as a church are called to.

This morning, we had the privilege of praying over our college students — those close to home, miles away, and attending other locations — as they step into a season filled with finals, graduations, big decisions, and new beginnings.

There’s something so special about watching God faithfully guide and grow them through every transition. We are expectant for all He has ahead for their lives. 🤍

If you know a college student, take a moment today to intentionally pray for them — for peace in the stress, wisdom in the decisions, courage for the unknown, and confidence in where God is leading them next.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9

Emotion and vulnerability were at the center of our second discussion week this past Sunday.

There was something really special about the way people showed up—open, honest, and willing to be seen. We talked about what it actually looks like to be ambassadors of the King, not in a perfect or put-together way, but in a way that lets others see the joy and light that only Jesus can give.

We closed our time by taking communion together, slowing down and remembering the sacrifice Jesus made for each of us. It was a quiet, grounding moment—one that brought everything back to what matters most.

We would love for you to join us at any of our locations 🤍

Not just attending—belonging.

Membership isn’t about a name on a list; it’s about a life surrendered, a heart aligned, and a commitment to grow together in Christ. Moments like this remind us that following Jesus is personal—but never meant to be lived alone.

Join us this Sunday as we continue our Membership series—there’s a place for you here, and we’d love to walk alongside you. 🤍

Our youth group teamed up with Howard Christian Church for an unforgettable weekend at Sylvan Hills Camp—stepping away from the noise to focus on what really matters: unity, community, and loving others the way Jesus does.

Despite the rain, nothing could dampen what God was doing. From meaningful conversations and worship to plenty of laughter and late-night moments, this weekend reminded us that unity isn’t about perfect circumstances—it’s about choosing to show up for one another with love.

We’re so grateful for new friendships, deeper connections, and the ways God is continuing to shape our hearts. 🤍

ITS CLOSING DAY!!!!! 🏡🔑

Welcome to the Common Places Discipleship House—our new home for college ministry!

We’re so excited to see how God uses this space to impact students, build community, and grow disciples. This is more than just a house—it’s a place where college students can belong, be challenged, and be sent out.

Want to learn more or get involved? Send us a message—we’d love to connect with you! 💛

This past Sunday looked a little different—we paused our usual gathering for a discussion-based week in our Membership series.

Together, we explored what it really means to be part of the local and global Church. It’s more than attendance—it’s stepping into something bigger than yourself. It’s finding family. It’s belonging.

We would love for you to be a part of that with us. Come by and check us out! 🤍
