St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church-Lima St. Charles was founded on 1953 by Father Walter Hanley. The mission of St. Saint Charles parish is a growing and dynamic faith community.

Charles Catholic Church is to build a community of faith united with Christ in the Eucharist, living as disciples, sharing God's love and grace. Our growth is not measured so much in numbers as it is in our commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. This commitment is expressed in our weekly celebration of the Eucharist and our proclamation of the gospel message in both word and action, specifically ser

vice to the poor. Our faith community has been greatly blessed, but we are not content to bask in those blessings. Our challenge is to invite even more to enjoy and be challenged by the gospel of Jesus. Other St Charles groups on facebook:

Happy 33rd Anniversary to Fr. Kent! Fr. Kent celebrates the anniversary of his priestly ordination today, July 31st. Fr. Kent was ordained in 1993. Through the years, Fr. Kent has been working diligently to help build God's kingdom. We are very thankful for his ministry in service to our parish, and we pray God continues to bless him with many more healthy and happy years of dedication to the Church. Thank you Fr. Kent for saying yes to your vocation!

Today is International Day of Friendship! There are so many ways to show your friends you appreciate them. You can plan time with your friends, do a kind deed, call or write to someone you haven't seen in awhile, or pray for them. Don't forget to make friends with those in Heaven too, the saints! Whether you relate to one of the saints' personalities, stories, or you want to get to know them better, the saints are great friends to model and follow when working toward Heaven. They can lead us closer to the ultimate friendship too, friendship with God!
