Salem Mennonite Church-Elida OH A Mennonite community joyfully following Jesus since the 1840's. Come join us. We have a variety of small groups and service and mission opportunites.

We meet together each Sunday, beginning with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30 a.m.

Today we commissioned five Salem youth who will be serving at Camp Luz and Camp Hebron this summer. We will miss seeing them at Salem every week but are proud of their willingness to serve and excited for all the opportunities they will have as camp staff and counselors.

Congratulations to our Salem Lima Senior High School sophomores, Alex and Liam, who participated in Career Tech signing yesterday. Alex and Liam are part of the 78% of next year's Lima Senior juniors who are enrolled in Career Tech for this coming fall. Alex will be in the Agriculture program and Liam in Business. We are proud of our Salem youth!

State Road between Dutch Hollow and Gomer Road is a little cleaner today thanks to the Salem Trash Pick-up Crew! (Also thanks to Stan Bauman for planning our service project and organizing our haystack lunch before and our ice cream dessert after.)

Shane Troyer will be our speaker this week. His sermon title is "Anointed in the Middle of It" using Psalm 23. We also will receive a special offering for Anabaptist World Fellowship as well as dedicating the MCC hygiene kits. Please stay after worship for a "haystack" lunch and then help clean up State Road. We will end the day with a delicious dessert as our reward for a job well done. See you Sunday!
