Mountain View Baptist Church

Directions

Mountain View Baptist Church Mountain View is located the Southmont/High Rock Lake area. Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? Isaiah 43: 18-19

What started out as Pine Knot School, a one room schoolhouse is today a place of praise and worship where the name of Jesus Christ is exalted above every other name! We believe God is doing a fresh work within our community and ask you to seriously "begin praying" about your relationship to Jesus Christ and how you might serve Him. The Old Testament Prophet declares: "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

Treating Jesus like a fire alarm reduces a lifelong relationship into a panic button used only to escape trouble.

The Fire Alarm View of Faith
• You ignore Jesus until trouble starts: You forget about Him when life is good.
• Loud panic only: You only call out when you are scared or facing a crisis.
Jesus Is More Than an Alarm
A real relationship goes much deeper than an emergency warning system.
• A daily guide: Jesus offers a way to live every single day.
• Constant presence: He walks with you through the good times, not just the fires.
• Transformation, not just rescue: Faith changes how you treat others, love your neighbor, and view the world.

Walk daily with Jesus….Turn to Him in joy and in sadness, in plenty and in want.
